  A fine little puzzle game but it's NOT a stealth game. The stealth feels bad, with no immersion, constantly putting you in predicaments where your brain knows the enemies would in fact be able to see and hear you even if the game mechanics are allowing it. This is no Dishonored, Thief, or even Mark of the Ninja. But puzzle games can be nice too. The problem with this one is you'll have a miserable time without a keyboard and mouse, and will be fighting against the controller, camera, and UI. There's no way to keep every enemy's cone lit up - only one at a time - and in a game where there are multiple enemies all watching each other, many off-screen, that feels like some kind of intentionally obtuse oversight. The pathfinding is also buggy af when you have a full group, with characters that will want to keep moving on their own because their bounding boxes keep pushing each other. Not ideal in a game that often requires such precise movement. The gameplay also gets samey - kuma, flute, trap, kuma, flute, trap repeat repeat repeat - and some of the missions just go on for way too long. I got stuck at the end of mission 7 and then got bored trying to figure it out. When you reach that "Staring at the screen and thinking about other games I could be playing" point, you know it's over. A more compelling story might have helped keep me going. Still, someone cared a lot about this game. The music is great, the voice acting is pretty good. Obviously a lot of puzzle fans are into this one. I would say that if you have a high tolerance for tedium, this one could be for you. I personally reached points where I knew what I needed to do to proceed, but just didn't FEEL like doing it. It started to feel like doing my taxes.

  This game is an absolute blast, especially on the Steam Deck! The strategy and planning that goes into the missions keeps you engrossed for hours on. The replayability factor is also high as there are multiple ways of completing each mission which can get quite challenging.

  Quality game, If you're old school like me and used to love playing commandos then this game is for you. For me the levels aren't overly hard or complicated but are very enjoyable non the less. The level achievements/challenges are where the game steps up a notch to really test you. Overall love the game/series would highly recommend it to those who like challenges and puzzle solving.

  Great game, I also beat it with a controller. So if you just wanna sit back and chill with a controller it's very great. The reason I mention this is because these types of games tend to have subpar controller support but not this one. I play Star craft and Heroes but it's nice to have an RTS you can play with a controller and they did a great job. Gameplay wise the game is fun, challenging and funny at times. I'm a huge Metal gear fan and the stealth gameplay felt similar which is not a bad thing but it still feels unique. Every one will have their own way of beating the missions and will gravitate towards certain character combos making the experience unique for each person and all 5 characters are fun. Very fun, very good and challenging for stealth veterans, this was my first shadow tactics games and now I'm on to Desperados 3 lol.

  Great game, simplistic, good setting (edo period) but just lacking something. Maybe because it's single player and you can only do so much against a computer. A great idea though hopefully it can be further developed into something where you can play with other players
