  Basically it's a simple mobile game with terrible mechanics which devs tried to hide by "rouge-like" elements. I can't say anything about co-op play. But single play is totally not worth it. Some cons: You can't customize controls. Weapon stats are not shown only difference with current equipment. You have no idea if -45 damage and +86% attack speed is better or worse in DPS without base atk/spd parameters shown. Yes, you can see base parameters while on a map, but you have to remember them through the battle to decide whether or not pickup a new weapon. Bonus icons of armor have no description or hint. I have no idea what a trap symbol means. Yes, you can later find out by yourself that every equipment has a type which is described by this symbol. But this is not what is called a clear and intuitive UI. I have no idea why some dialogue options are not available. There is no description or hint. You have no idea what an item that you can buy at a merchant is. There is no description, only a name. Basically you have to remember what it is, or keep some wiki tab open. Bad UI design. Vertical reach of attacks for your character and NPCs is not clear. You can even hit a target behind you sometimes, an you also could be hit by the enemy facing other way. I guess it depends on a weapon and attack/npc type. But it's not clear. Powerful attack control mechanics just seems wrong. It's always a second attack in a combo, you can't cast it without doing a first basic strike. I find it a bad design decision, yet here I might be mistaken. Enemies get stuck over obstacles. Map and dialog animations cannot be swithced off. It really irritates you when you replay same part over and over. Some NPCs can change direction of the attack even after the start of their attack animation. Basically hitting you even after when you dodged through them. Most mini-game challenges are not explained so you will lose some of them for the first time just because you had no idea of some rules/limitations. Dialog choices have no information on success percentage. Interact and attack buttons are the same. Very inconvinient. You most times fall through enemies ifyour attack includes movement forward. Your movement is not obstucted by most enemies. But there are enemies which obstruct your movement. You can't tell which. Just learn by mistake and remember. Terrible mechanics. Some enemies can just attack vertically if they are way below or above you. Wolves for example. Dodge mechanics has no invulnerability window. You can get a perfect dodge and still get hit by an attack you've dodged. Stun lock is abused in this game over the top. By you and by enemies. Card flipping animation is useless and meaningless. You are not able to read available options. You don't have to remember how cards are shuffled. It doesn't matter which card you click you just get a RNG result. It's useless animation which has no meaning or value but only takes your time.

  Giving this game a positive review. If you're looking for a simple cooperative beat 'em up that can be played online with your pals. It's fun. There's procedural generation when maneuvering the map, the blessing/curses system feels fairly balanced. There are merchant events. And there are luck based events, which make you either pick a random card from four choices, or roll a dice. Depending on your character choice, you may get additional ways of solving a random event. There's also a skill tree that you use your progression based currency to make you strong/give you other boons. So you do get more powerful/bonuses as you play. Some cons. I prefer playing this game with a controller. I don't believe it has full controller support yet. I have to use my mouse to use the 'power-up' items (only in co-op). If there is a way, I don't know as there's no way to map my controls. Lastly, I wish this game had more variety with the random events/items. Overall, I feel like while the game is complete, and I see the potential this game has. It's missing some depth which would be fixed by adding more random events, items, enemies, boss characters, etc.

  Imagine someone making an RPG beat 'em up and thinking "hey what if we make the player lose all their gear every ten minutes?" Gameplay is sheitly repetitive + if you join a multiplayer game you can't progress because you haven't finished the tutorial but the game doesn't tell you which is all pretty f..... dumb.

  It's kinda like hand of fate but with meta progression. It's pretty decent. My only issue is that there are other games in this style like Rampage Knights and Lost Castle which handle the roguelite aspect quite well and are generally cheaper with plenty of items that have more challenging/complicated gameplay. The best thing this game has vs those games is the hand of fate like map and story generation tying it all together in a 4 player co op environment.

  I got this game so my friend and I could play. Didn't play long, but for the 40 minutes... I did not enjoy it. I thought campaign mode was going to be more of an adventure (with story) like Castle Crashers, but combat was simply a small arena with hack and slash mechanics and minimal abilities (melee and ranged... that's it)... and the enemies are super quick and easy. There are random encounters as you explore each map, but all the maps look the same... and only the event locations change/randomize... and those aren't exactly... exciting. A few other issues I had: -It's too easy and bosses pose no challenge. -Feels like a mobile game... and not in a good way. -Armor and equipment you earn during a campaign doesn't carry over. -Skill tree is basic and nothing overly exciting to purchase (increase ATK, DEF, HP, etc) - pretty basic -Updating your "castle" isn't exactly intuitive. Just a few small things here and there. -Food makes NO sense. Each movement on the map costs 1... but I never ran out... what's the point? -This game would have been better if you actually got to customize your character at the start. -Minimal story and what was there... wasn't interesting. -Combat is just... meh. Easy, repetitive and gets boring fast. I think this game has potential but still requires a lot of work. I refunded the game. Couldn't get into it, but I wish the devs the best of luck with future updates and content.

  Is this game a masterpiece? No. But it has potential. Its a 4 player beat um up style game with gear system and progression! Sounds great on paper anyway. The game wasn't very well executed in my opinion. Yes it has gear, yes you grind cogwheels to upgrade your characters.. But several things are wrong with this. First of all its a GRIND. And even if playing with 4 players you dont get an increase in the amount of cogwheels you get. Not that big of a deal but people want to upgrade and it leaves you with getting 1-2 points for 1 player per run... The gear system/talent points are also a little bit of a mess. You can unlock the blasksmith so everyone in the party has a chance to grab slightly better starting gear. But you quickly realize that just upgrading your characters gear is wayyy better. Making all that time spent gathering that money a waste. I can think of a few ways they could have fixed this problem but I digress. The D&D style system is just kind of dull if I'm being honest. Its the exact same scenarios over and over and over again. The scenario with the obstacle course is just plain dumb. Then dont get me started on the card guessing mechanic... You'll soon realize that its not random. There is no way to actually follow it with your eyes to guess correctly. Its just memorization. Of messing up and knowing which ones to pick lol. Or maybe its random idk. Feels like a huge missed opportunity either way. With that all being said tho? Is this game worth your time? I'd say yes. Its a fun little game that I'd recommend if you can look past major issues. Now I will say that I had a problem with a rather serious bug.. But the Devs reached out immediately and fixed my problem. So major props to the Devs on this front. They will more than likely put in the work to make this game better.

  I play on the easiest mode to enjoy the story more. Many funny characters, the story can be played in different ways depending on your choice. There is light humor. Angry chickens are funny. The game has a character leveling tree: weapons, health... The points you win can be spent on improving your character.
