  Bought this instead of Battlefield 2042. Best decision I've made this month, hands down This game reminds me a little bit of Watashi no Orc-san and Himono Elf Kozukuri o Suru (kasei / hiroya). Can't wait to continue filling up elves [Cont] So on a more serious note given that people are wavering due to the price tag. This game has a very nice UI that is more inventive than your typical visual novel menus. It does lack text display speed sliders (they were replaced with four variable speeds). The story was written by Tomokichi, who's doujins are currently being sold in English on Fakku (#$@% you Jacob Grady). There is no patch necessary. The voice actresses were cast well. According to VNDB the censorship style is mosaic, however this game is [b][u]uncensored.[/u][/b] The game does not have 1080p, so if you aren't a diehard fan of eroge like myself (god bless Monster Girl Quest) it may be off-putting given the high price tag. You'll probably play in window'd mode. I've said this a lot: the Japanese do not understand the concept of" time degrades value" so their games tend to be pretty pricey throughout time. I guess that's what happens when most of the oldest companies in the world are located in your country! If you reallllly like elves and you're looking for a lighthearted funny eroge this is your niche game.

  *sigh* this HVN is... odd. As you can see, I've put in 19 hours, a good 8 of those hours were spent on multiple chapters of the same-shit-different-day type material. Wake up, try to do something, get raped, die, resurrect with a new skill that lets you barely avoid death, repeat. This formulaic approach to so many consecutive chapters made them downright painful to get through. While the base premise is kind of interesting and makes sense, the execution is terrible. And monumentally stupid. Violating an elf = death. Okay. Yet, as long as the MC doesn't cum, it's okay if he gives them a good dicking or fingerblasts them into unconsciousness. WTF? In what way is that NOT "violating"!? Anyway - i would be okay with the narrative idiocy if not for the fact that the elves are infuriatingly annoying - narratively it makes sense, I'll grant, but it doesn't save them. Now, once you get to chapter 10 (roughly), it picks up - the elves get redeemed and two more likable (SEE: Less annoying) characters get thrown into the mix. Unfortunately the last third of the game is the MC being an imbecile. The only narrative saving grace, is the fact that the ending is actually really good. The VFX, BGM, SFX are all beyond reproach and the CGs (and girls therein) are all REALLY well done. But that narrative is painful. Honestly, if it weren't for the fact that we're mainly here for the "H" in "HVN", I couldn't give this the thumbs up. For as much as it annoys me overall, the top tier H and the ending - which stands out even among HVNs that have good endings - does put this in the passable territory, but just barely. 6/10

  Not for the faint of heart. Don't play in the dark, this is a bone chilling horror visual novel that kept me awake for weeks and I am struggling to finish it. Poor Donovan, such a cruel fate.
