  This game is Nostalgic. It reminds me of the days when I used to go down to the Council Library and play for an hour (as you had 1 hour timeslots). I loved this game as a kid, and not just this 1, but many other Popcap titles. Popcap Games are really good singleplayer games, probably some of the best offline games I've played, highly recommend them!

  Heavy weapon is a great game.. on the Xbox. You can only use a mouse and no controller. You can only shoot in the direction you are moving. This becomes a major problem when ground units are attacking, and when the big bulldozer comes in later levels. Its near impossible to shoot at the bulldozer while trying to dodge other bombs from air units. Also there is no online multiplayer!!! Xbox version is superior in every way. Dont waste your time with this version.

  Those negative reviews are utterly misleading. Back in 2006, I've played this Heavy Weapon Deluxe since the first release. There is no XBOX platform. Only PC version. To be honest, let me start with both comparisons. What you get in: [table] [tr] [th][/th] [th]PC Platform[/th] [th]Console Platform (PS2/XBOX)[/th] [/tr] [tr] [td]Number of Players[/td] [td]Single[/td] [td]Single / Co-op[/td] [/tr] [tr] [td]Movement[/td] [td]Mouse[/td] [td]Controller[/td] [/tr] [tr] [td]How-To-Move[/td] [td]Point left or right, vehicle will follow your mouse cursor. Stop the vehicle's movement by pointing your cursor vertically, right above your vehicle OR just point the vehicle. Hold left click to fire, right click to nuke.[/td] [td]Left joystick to shoot, right joystick to move. Vehicle WILL NOT MOVE if you don't move your right joystick. Nuke using on assigned button.[/td] [/tr] [/table] Consoles version are enhanced version, specially made for 2-player game compared to PC. For PC it's 2006 game, PopCap don't upgrade to co-op version. Ignore the negative reviews, they never play PC version before. This game on Steam version is still solid. Recommended.

  Tried to enjoy it over the years. Went back to it time and time again. I don't enjoy it only because of one thing: The controls.
