  You get to experience the sweetest romance I have ever played (which is a lot) in this VN. Girls are cute and stories are heart-warming. Choices are also fun. Something that I will never experince in my real life. Well at least I got my waifu in this game so who cares HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA..HAAA..HAA.....ha......*sobbing*

  Currently hiding like a Ninja. Ever since I started using the 18+ patch, I've had numerous scenes where people would walk up to me as I close in on an Ecchi or straight up H-scene. While this does improve my already unhealthy as hell body, and while the story is Funny to the point of me getting yelled at to shut my weeb ass up, I’d like to note that as I’m currently disguising myself as a normal human being, this game makes that job 1000x times harder since there’s always be someone I’d be ashamed to show on the screen (Except for Justice or Rina). I like how you can change the font and so that you can either read it on a nice, clean looking font with white text, or mess up your whole god damn brain with a hard to read font and brown colour text that looks as if someone made the text into shit. I haven’t really gotten that far or anything, since the time I spend avoiding and hiding takes much longer than actually playing the game, though the walkthrough on Fuwanovel that some guy made as well as the 18+ patch from the NekoNyan is really appreciated. Verdict? I’m a hopeless low life cunt with zero love experience and to cover that deep whole in my life, I stuff it with VNs and cry myself to sleep every night. 69/10 best game Rina is waifu and Justice is my idol. WARNING, WALL OF TEXT BELLOW ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alright, that's enough joking around (Except for that Waifu part). In all honesty, after finishing the whole VN, I've got to say that I like it and that it's one of my top 3 played VNs on steam. TLDR if you don’t want to read the wall of text bellow: It’s a decent, long VN from what I can tell but whether or not it’s worth your money depends on the person itself. Though I’ll like to mention that there’s an 18+ patch for free if you’re one of those who like that stuff on NekoNyan’s website and a Walkthrough by someone at the Fuwanovel fourms is available. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For those genuinely interested, I’d say that the prologue of this would take about 3-4 Hours depending on your read speed. To go to a specific character’s route, you’ll have to talk to them and pick topics that seem relevant to the character you’re speaking with and that will add in a few more hours before you can actually reach a character’s route. It’s kind of an affection system sort of thing. You can pick which character you want to talk to when prompted, or not see anyone actually, but there will be sometimes when your character that you want to go after won’t be available. I would suggest to either don’t see anyone or pick a different character when that happens and chose the one you’re going for originally once she’s available. This might be a slight spoiler but basically, once you manage to enter a girl’s route, or the lovers stage if you want to call it that, it’ll take until chapter 10 or 11 to finish and a short epilogue is there once you finish the ending movie. The lovers stage is usually 4/5/6 hours long for each heroine if I’m not mistaken, though in the end, it’ll depend on your reading speed. (Including H-Scences of course) During certain points in the game, you’ll also be able to pick options that’ll change the hairstyle of certain girls in the game, like Rina or Yuzuyu. (But I’ll leave discovering the change to the person who actually buys the game and plays their routes.) I honestly like the game’s soundtrack, but in the end, that’s really my opinion and if I compared it to other VNs and their soundtracks, I’d say this one is average. For writing, I can’t really comment on that. For one, I’m not a super story reviewer or anything but at least I can rank the routes from my favourite, to my least. (With crap explanations to go along with it, of course.) (And side note here, I’m not saying that any particular girl’s route is bad or anything, just that it’s not my taste. I’ll leave the discussion to whether the writing was shit or not to the story review pros.) For start, my favourite route would be Rina. It’s mainly due to me liking her character from the get-go though and I am a bit biased towards her since I played her route first. The second would be Yuzuyu, simply due to how she can actually be slightly loveable once you enter the lovers stage compared to when you first met her. You actually realise that she’s a pretty cute girl beneath all of her insults, but I don’t mind the insults in the first place though. (But that’s me, I think I have slight masochism.) I want to say more about her changes, but that’d be spoiling so I’ll stop myself. Third would be Misaki-senpai, but I can really comment as to why she got third. I just felt like the other two had better routes compared to her. And finally, Himari. Though, I’m not sure why I don’t like her route. Maybe it’s just me and my dislike of childhood friends? (Actually no, I think I just don’t like her…) For who you should go for first, I think I’ll refer to a Fuwanovel walkthrough post by Mr Poltroon and recommend the same route order. (And big thanks to Mr Poltroon for the walkthrough, helped me a lot when playing. Go check his walkthrough if you need any help going on a route.) You should start with Yuzuyu, then Rina, Himari, and then finally, Misaki-senpai. I’m not sure if there’s a difference or not, but I feel like you reach the confession scenes for certain girls faster than others. I find that Yuzuyu’s confession scene was the fastest to get to, followed by Rina. The longest girl to get to the confession scene is Himari in my opinion, though, that’s from the calendar dates. Misaki-senpai’s confession scene takes a comfortable amount of time to reach. (And I’m referring to when the option to confess shows up, since all the confessions take place on 30th of June. Also a reminder to pick the option to confess before then.) As for the game’s UI and things, I like the minor features that come with this one, such as being able to change the font and colour, being able to quick jump to previous scenes (WHICH SOME VNS DON’T EVEN HAVE, MIND YOU, and I’m definitely not pointing fingers at that falling cherry blossom across the room or anything) even after saving and closing a game (at least from what I’ve tried). These little things do make a difference sometimes so good job Smee! (Though maybe favourite character system voice would have been good as well?) Finally, the experience reading this VN. I kinda liked it. I felt satisfied with most of the routes and I’d honestly get the Fan Disk when it comes out. (But… Let’s not have it delayed on steam next time if possible, yeah? xD) Anyways, verdict? An 8.5/10. And that’s because I feel like I can only replay one or two routes a lot. I guess this also means that I don’t really feel that much for other characters in the game asides from Rina and Yuzuyu. Misaki-senpai’s route is good and all but I don’t feel like I’ll replay her route anytime soon. Himari’s route out of the question. I just don’t like her route, though that’s personal preference. In the end, is this worth it for the money? Depends on your tastes. IMO, for me it’s worth it but for others? Maybe not. It all depends on your own tastes and whether you like it or not all depends on you. To anyone who actually took their time to read this crap review, thanks I guess? Though I'll wish that you won't flame me in the comments for my crappy review. P.S, Is this review length closer to a bible yet, -crmz^?

  Fureraba is another one of those games that I can never seem to quite get off of my mind no matter how much time passes. It is by no means the most impactful or emotional VN I have read, but that is where a majority of it's strength lies. Fureraba is a Smee novel in the truest sense, focusing on the relationship of the characters above all else, to the point where there is little to no plot that ties the story together. While this may seem like a detriment to the reader's experience at first, especially those coming off of VNs such as the Fruit of Grisaia or Steins;Gate, this focus on the individuals rather than the story and world as a whole allows for Smee to do what they do best: writing a story so sweet it may give your soul diabetes. Fureraba is one of the most unbelievably sugary and romantic VNs I have ever read. It's sole purpose is to bring you, the reader, an adorable and lighthearted story of people experiencing their first loves as they move from acquaintances to friends and finally to lovers(as the name implies). There is almost no drama or serious tones throughout the entire story, save for light amounts of relationship drama which are resolved quickly and cleanly. This may be a turn off to some who are looking for something a little deeper, but if you are looking for a temporary escape from reality to a place where everything really is okay, then I can not recommend this VN enough. I won't waste your time discussing the girls or their routes as they are pretty simple in concept, but know that each heroine is fantastic in their own way and each one feels unique. As for the protaganist...give him a shot. At first I couldn't stand him, but that was just for part of the prologue. I quickly found myself laughing out loud at his jokes and eagerly waiting to see what he would do next. Just know that, like some other Smee protagonists, he is loud, opinionated, but extremely dedicated to his relationships to the point where you wonder how such a fowl mouthed guy could be such a cheesy sweetheart whenever the mood calls for it. All in all, if you are looking for a story that is like an injection of happiness straight into the soul, then this is the game for you. And remember that if the cold, harsh void that is your life ever gets to be too much, you can always seek comfort here.

  Waiting this visual novel since the end of 2014 and played it in the end of 2018. That's 4 years worth of waiting. Fureraba consist of 4 heroine. The protagonist are a lonely highschool boy that want a girlfriend before summer vacation start. The prologue is somewhat not too long but it's very funny and not make you bored. It's the funniest visual novel I ever had after Yuki Sakura and Clannad. It's not a branch-story-kind visual novel, but still lot of choices to narrow down each character. The UI is simple but looks good and easy to use. You can simply back to the scene you want to see by scrolling up. The art is great. It's have some good CG. Have a good OP and ED animation. But not a great one. The sound effect are very impressive to make me laugh (that boom sound). The BGM are high quality. Sadly, they just have 1 OP (Quantum Jump) and 1 ED song (Futari no Album). No special ED song for each heroine, but they still have BGM for each heroine in friend route or lover route. They have H patch for steam that you can download, and for the price, it's very worth to buy. Overall it's a great VN to enjoy if you like romcom school type. My personal favorite heroine is Rina As always : ~A good VN is VN that not used H scene but keep us reading~
