  Pros and cons are down below) If this review will be helpful, please drop a like so it can be helpful to other people as well) I'm gonna talk mainly about the new (4th chapter here). Here's the vid of gameplay that I'm gonna refer to a lot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S44OZGQrV4w (I COSPLAYED nurses so you can also check that out btw) + The visuals are amazing! The levels are still fascinating to look at and to explore. I'd say that the visuals and the ambiance only improves with each new level. Absolutely amazing. The level design is smart, you rarely get in a situation where you get caught in a dead end and most of the deaths you experience due to poorly managing your power or pathing. + Powers are fun to play with and the new ones are pretty good. I think mechanic-wise, it's a job well done. + The voice acting and character models are impressive. I love how interesting each character model and menacing at the same time. + Bierce has big booba. - Game breaking bugs and just a ton of annoying ones in the last chapter. In the video you can see I played through Torment Therapy and my game crashed 3 times and I died to recently stunned nurse. I'm pretty sure that the devs will fix all of that soon but that is very annoying after 2 (or is it 3 now?) years of development and waiting. - The pacing get worse and worse with each level. It's a fast paced horror. You wanna run, use your abilities and get spooked. You don't wanna sit through 20 mins of intro scenes that aren't even cutscenes that you can skip. Like going around rooms and pressing f to get out of them repeatedly or sitting through a song about fun town. Oh joy. I'ts cool to see once, after that it's annoying. I can't wait to sit through it all again and again trying to get Rank S on each level to unlock lore. I'd suggest letting players skip through all unnecessarily long intro sequences when they replay the levels. - Achievements are bugged too. I got the one for "avoiding dying to traps" when like 15/16 deaths were to traps (I'm exaggerating a bit but you get the point)... Overall: I'd say that the game is still impressive. The new levels are amazing, They get better, scarier, harder, pose more challenges and introduce better boss battles. BUT the pacing gets only worse especially if you want to 100% the game and replay levels for better score. I really don't know what to think right now after all this waiting. I'd say that the devs shifted attention to a side project really backfired as the more you wait the higher are your expectations, so after all that time getting barely playable (due to all the bugs) game is disappointing. I would rate Dark Deception 9 crazy monkeys / 10 cuz it's an incredible game but I'd rate the update 5 nurses / 10 until it gets fixed and playable (which I'm sure will happen very soon and I promise to update the review).   Good game, though very flawed. The monsters, maps and themes are all amazing, and so is the story, but the game-play is where it needs some improvements. This game is meant to be using strategy and abilities to avoid monsters and collect all shards, not Use Magnet, grab 10 shards, die, repeat. The main issue I've noticed with the game is that it almost never provides you with a clear weakness the enemies have. The only levels that actually do this are the third stage and the eighth stage (Statues only move when you aren't looking at them and Mama bear only runs when she gets close even if she sees you). Those stages are my favourites, even though at times, Mama bear's stage is still TERRIBLE. Unlike other games, rather than providing you with a consistent way around the monsters, they keep giving the monsters advantage after advantage, and then provide you with a tiny way around it, with barely any margin for error. Murder Monkeys: Have smart AI that can flank at any time. Work around: Give the map stupidly tight corridors. That's not a work-around. Same goes for many of the other stages. Dread Duckies: Have AI that will only attack when you get close. Work around: Give the map doors that takes way too long to open, make the player's movement incredibly slow and make some enemies wander around the map, forcing you to run into the hidden ones. Reaper Nurses: Can literally go invisible. Work around: Place traps on LITERALLY EVERY CORNER OF THE MAP, Make the corridors super thin and place way too many of them on the map (I seriously hate this level and I hope they balance it). Those furry animatronic guys: Lucky can literally boost towards you, Penny can stun you and fall out of the sky and Hangry can burst through walls. Work around: Cover the map in security cameras head to toe so they're constantly alerted to your position, make the maps hard to navigate without getting lost so Lucky can easily catch up, make Penny fall right on top of you and instantly kill you and have Hangry break through a wall as your standing right against it so he instantly kills you + Teleport Hangry to random areas of the map all the god dam time. I am still very excited for Chapter 5, and I hope they can provide some much-needed bug fixes and improvements to the game. I really like this game still. It's got potential and when looking past the flaws, it's a really fun time, though of every single game I have ever played: NEVER have I ever NOT wanted to replay a re-playable game.

  Honestly, this game is soo good! level 3 is probably going to be the hardest one for me. but when are the next chapters? I know chapter 3 is in april or something. and people are experiencing just small bugs, like players are getting crashes at level 3 (got one and Dawko did), and small detail bugs. I have high expectations for the game! and i would prefer getting the Complete game instead of buying the ones seprate.

  This game is great, its dificult, Smooth game play, and ambient feel make for a great scary atmosphere. And who doesnt love murder monkeys ,Scary little girls and other freaky stuff hahaha?

  Dark Deception Review + Complete Edition | : The game starts really good with the Killer Monkeys = Good start : Then after that it was a little girl that kills people = Very good :Then the Watcher level was Insane but it was very cool = Amazing :Next is the Dread Duckies and The level was pretty hard = Awesome :Finally is The Clown Gremlins and it was Very cool = Awesomeness And now its time for the whole game review with all of the chapters combined ---- Processing ---- 10/10 I suggest everybody go follow Glowstick Right now! Because they do amazing stuff! Thank You to everybody who read this and i hope everybody buys the complete version of Dark Deception! Good bye guys...
