  A fantastic add-on for an already fantastic game! Curse of Dreadbear includes some stressful new levels built on a wonderful Halloween aesthetic. Its awesome to see that even if trick-or-treating may be dying in the real world, the spirit of Halloween can still live on forever in works of art like FNAF Help Wanted. One of my favorite new additions is the Foxy Pirate Ride. Even though its one of the least terrifying levels to be introduced to the Five Nights franchise, its one of the most immersive and fun to replay. Slowly coasting along and experiencing all of the art that has been presented just like a true to life gallery shooter, while trying to max out your score with hidden pathways really sucks you in and keeps you coming back for more. Steel Wool has blown me away with how perfectly they have translated the FNAF spirit and gameplay into VR. Maybe some day we'll get to freely explore a whole Freddy Fazbear VR theme park!

  A DLC that should be a role model for all DLCs. It adds plenty new content, all unique and very entertaining.

  I loaded into the corn maze mini-game first and realized I had to walk around. I started to hear footsteps and got super fucking scared and tried to back out of the mini-game. I frantically tried to remember what the pause button was as the footsteps grew louder. My heart started racing as I finally opened up the menu and started reading the options looking for an exit game button. With animatronic footsteps still growing louder in my ears, and maybe even faster... (Pausing the game doesn't actually PAUSE THE GAME) I finally slammed my vr hand into the exit game button and I'm never playing it again. Thank you for the 60 second experience.

  Danger Keep Out: As all 3 Nights of this minigame are very similar, I'll be reviewing them together. This minigame is basically a remixed FNaF 1. Instead of shutting the giant metal doors to your office to keep animatronic out, you're equiped with a light that keeps the animatronics away from your office. Jack-O-Chica and Jack-O-Bonnie come from the right and left doors respectively, Grim Foxy slowly emerges from Pirates Cove but can be reset using the light. Unlike the other three animatronics, Dreadbear takes a set path to your office and is not reset by the light. Instead, the light stuns him for a few seconds. Whenever you use the light, you use 20% power, and the only way to recharge it is to sit in darkness without the cameras or light for a few seconds. Ths gameplay of this minigame is great, and focus on balancing power while keeping the 4 animatronics away from your office is stressful and fun. By far the best office gameplay in the entire game. Difficulty: Hard Review Score: Great Spooky Mansion: Hallway In this minigame, your goal is to walk through a very long hallway while the Nightmare Animatronics stalk you. Bonnie and Chica come from the left and right doors, and you have to avoid their line of sight. Nightmare Foxy sometimes appears for a few seconds whenever lightning flashes, and you have to stop moving if he's there. Nightmare Freddy is basically just a timer, as he will catch you if you take too long to escape. While the atmosphere of this minigame is great and it can be a bit scary, it's very easy and the mechanics for the Nightmares aren't very interesting. Difficulty: Easy Review Score: Okay Spooky Mansion: Mangle Build a Mangle tasks you with building your own animatronic. There are four screens in front of you, each cycling through a variety of parts you'll need to collect. You can find the parts you need on the two conveyor belts to your side. Sometimes, a Freddle will sneak onto the conveyor belt and you'll need to shock them before they block your vision for a few seconds. If you get less than 70% of the correct parts in or 3 wrong parts, you will die. While this minigame has a cool concept, I think it's too simple and should have had more active threats outside of failing to get the correct parts. Difficulty: Very Easy Review Score: Okay Spooky Mansion: Trick or Treat In Trick or Treat, you've gone trick or treating at a house filled with animatronics. To survive, you need to watch the windows and see which animatronic is missing from the house when the door opens and put on that animatronics mask. This is harder than it seems, as the animatronics have unpredictable movement patterns and the lighting is very dark. On top of this, after Round 1, Mangle will sometimes appear to block one of the windows, forcing you to put on their mask. While a very simple minigame, it's actually very fun keeping track of the animatronics and the few seconds before the door opens are tense even when you know you put on the correct mask. Difficulty: Very Easy Review Score: Great Spooky Mansion: Dreadbear Dreadbear Repair would be great if it was explained better. You need to create a custom brain for Dreadbear by adjusting it's colors, size, and wavelength based on what the monitors show. Every so often, the power will shut off and you'll need to reboot it, but you can only reboot it so many times before Dreadbear becomes aggressive. My main problem with this minigame is that you're thrown in with no explanation, leaving many people confused. However, once you learn how everything works, I find it very fun. Difficulty: Medium Review Score; Good Are You Afraid of The Dark: Plushkin Patch I don't have much to say about this minigame. It's just Plushbabies from the base game in a new area. The Plushbabies minigames were already overly hard and unfun, and this is no exception. The one good thing I can say about this minigame is that the environment is fantastic, one of the best of the DLC and far better than the normal Plushbabies minigame. Shame that doesn't make dying because you missed one obscure spawn point any more fun though. Difficulty: Very Hard Review Score: Bad Afraid of the Dark: Pirate Ride This is definitely one of my favorite minigames in the DLC pack. You play through a "shoot the targets" rollercoaster you'd find at a Theme Park, and it's fantastic. The art for every section of the ride is fantastic, and the gameplay is very different from basically every other level in the game. As you get higher point scores, new routes through the ride become available. While these routes have insane points, they are also home to Jack-O animatronics, so you'll have to quickly shoto at buttons to close doors and prevent them from getting to you. While this minigame is in no way scary, it's very fun to play through and go for high scores. Difficulty: Very Easy Review Score: Great Afraid of the Dark: Corn Maze I'm mixed on this minigame. The base gameplay of exploring the maze to find keys and escape is great. The atmosphere and environment are genuinely scary. Grim Foxy is a super cool design. However, there's one giant flaw holding this minigame back, being Grim Foxy's AI. Instead of the more typical gameplay where Grim Foxy would actively hunt the maze for you, he always knows your location and will head right to you the second you leave a hiding spot. The only way to actually get him to stop hunting you is to hide *after* he sees you, which causes him to despawn for around 30 seconds. This AI system makes no sense to me, and just makes dealing with Foxy annoying instead of scary. Difficulty: Medium Review Score: Okay
