  This game is very broken. The scenery is unfinished and in many places entirely inaccurate, many major landmarks are missing. System depth of tram systems is very low, it's not even possible to drive in reverse. Other tram lines operating on the same track are not simulated at all. There is no way to set up controls especially there is no way to use analog axes for the accelerator. This is a low effort cash grab with fundamental flaws. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!

  Update: Apparently, talking about a refund on their Discord triggers the dev, they kicked me out. I don't really know what to say about this game. I really want to like the game, but the amount of bugs is just exhausting. I only have four hours of playtime on my clock and yet I encountered already 10 bugs, where 2-3 are gamebreaking. This isn't a Early Access game anymore, this should be a full game, yet I can't even get my Apprentice achievement for completing the tutorial, with multiple attempts. It's nevertheless fun and a really good simulator at the base. The controls are well thought out, the graphics are nice, the atmosphere (real retailers, etc) is fantastic. As a Viennese myself, I absolutely love to drive the bim around locations I am familiar to. But in the end, the game isn't polished enough to be recommended. This needs some more work. Even with a discount of -50 % (17,47 €) I kind of regret having purchased it.

  Not worth with the price. Let alone a Munich version will be released separately. ViewApp. Greedy and arrogant developer. I've never seen a single developer could have an attitude this bad towards its customers. And it has always been like this since I knew it from the DLCs in OMSI 2. Shame on you guys.

  I like the idea of this game and I wanted to like it. However, there is almost nothing to do. Just timetabled service (1 route, 50 min length) and some tram challenges (like stop in the correct place of the station). If this game had more routes (possibly shorter length and/or maps then it would be good and I would compare it to something like Omsi 2. Right now though, this game is pretty boring with no real objectives.

  In all honesty TramSim is a good little game. But that's the issue. It's not worth anywhere near what they are asking for it in it's current state. I also experienced some crashing when trying to load up the game from the menu but I'm guessing it's just a little unstable from it's early state.

  In Its current state the game is very bland and boring, with plenty of bugs and crashes to go with it, I am submitting a refund request and may purchase in the future once more things have been added to justify the price.

The cabin of the tram and Vienna looks amazing. It's very relaxing to go along the routes across the city and pick up and drop off passengers. Unfortunately, the main reason I cannot recommend this game is because of poor optimization for VR. Game is running on the Unreal Engine. On my RTX 3080, I was getting variable frame rate drops and stutters. It would run at 90, 60, 45, 20 frames per second just depending on which section of the city I was at. The stutters that would happen around parliament made the game almost unplayable and definitely uncomfortable to play. I had to quit. It also seems like the longer I played the game, the poorer the performance. There's also other issues with VR. Although the store page says for VR that KBM or gamepad are required, that is not true (at least not on the Oculus Quest 2). The Touch controllers work fine. You can interact with most buttons / levers on the cabin. However, all is not well. For the acceleration / deceleration you use the joystick on the Touch controller versus holding the joystick in-game via motion controls. That part is bugged as well as the joystick will move on its own without any input from you. It becomes annoying to hear the constant clicking sound. Also the game tells you to press V for VR, but that is not necessary, it starts on its own on the Oculus quest if you choose Steam VR to start. Beware though, if you have a gamepad plugged in, the game may not recognize your Touch controllers button presses or joystick movement. Also, all the dashboard controls on the cabin are in German. Lastly, you have to start in non-VR to start a new game. You cannot control any of the menu items from VR. It seems like VR is an afterthought for this game. That's a shame because VR support is the only reason I bought this game. Given the poor implementation, I would recommend waiting for an update before purchasing this game for the VR experience. I do kind of regret my purchase, but it was also a lot of fun and I can see it being really good in VR if the developers put time to make it a more pleasant experience for VR.   [b] I never got a rail / tram game to be as close to reality as this one in term of simulation and graphics / physics. [/b] As I got an opportunity in my life to be a tram driver for a little while and spend plenty of time in tram and metro cab, I can tell you the comparison to real thing as it is supposed to be a simulator. IT IS ! It's a perfect replica of tram operations en route. Route is a 50 minutes drive one way. Route is really diversified, hills, underground, on the road, on tram proper route etc .... Route finish in loop on both ends. Timetable mode / Open World mode (without timetable) / Challenges mode / Video Tutorial in the beginning. Timetable have something like 10 duties with plenty of services to choose from depeding on choosed time, ability to change time in-game, day / night modelled. No weather yet. Graphics are really 2020 and all buildings are greatly modelled and qre unique, no recycled assets, all seems proper. Tram itself is properly modelled, there are annoucements, platform displays, almost all of tram controls are clickable and operational. It feels like a REAL thing, especially passengers boarding and doors operations. There is simulated individual doors opening, closing photosensors aka "hot door button" and manual force to close, or force opened etc while "beeping" as a real thing. It seems really complete. Tram physics are great, feeling the hill / downslope and reacts like a real thing. Sounds are perfect and very immersive. Few folks here make me laugh as they state that there is nothing to do beside of driving a tram, well, it's the purpose of it :) There is plenty of negative comments due to not really thorough manual and lack of explanation of few features and casual gamers take it as a bug where it actually isn't, like "I'm unable to proceed as the doors doesn't close" while they use "hot button" instead of forced close (as a passenger standing too close to the doors are fully simulated). True, that there is some bugs, especially menu, settings, tricky in-game (while driving) menu on top screen edge to be clicked with left mouse button, non intuitive and sometimes not really responsive, to choose timetable service, change in-game time etc, some "flying" or crazy passengers (running 30 km/h), but beside of few hickups on fps in densely modelled area in the center where fps drops a bit and a few glitches there is no game breaking bugs. Yet such a passengers simulation, different patch taken by them, non schematic movements, unexpected stuff, PERFECTLY modelled signals and aspects, fighting with timetable while driving properly or cars trying sometimes to push through and cut you then braking being scared (they continue when you stop) is FANTASTIC. A rare features that are not really common and few guys takes that as a bug. But beside of few menu and in-game glitches it is a really good product for Public Transport Maniacs :) And it is still in developpement and plenty of goodies will come.
