  I was skeptical to get this game at first because of the negativity surrounding it, but after trying it I can wholeheartedly say that it is worth it. It definitely has it's quirks but none of them are really all that bad, some of them are more beneficial I feel. The game is best played on keyboard, and even then the controls take a bit of getting used to. Primarily the fact that Luffy has a good bit of weight to him as he runs, which I struggled to get the hang of at first. Though I feel like I had so much trouble with these controls in the beginning because I was trying to play this game like a beat em up or warriors game, which it is most definitely not. It's definitely more of an exploration and strategic combat sort of game, as such just running in trying to punch things to death will probably not work out well. The game discourages more rush down combat approaches by allowing ranged and sneak attacks, which feel much better to use and are much more viable. If you want, you can still play a more aggressively but for that to be viable you'd need a significant amount of points into your skill tree. The skill tree in World Seeker is fantastic, as it takes concepts already introduced in One Piece and makes them work in creative and interesting ways that serve to benefit Luffy's exploration and combat. I very much enjoyed how clever some of the concepts were incorporated into this game as skills. The story feels like an anime only filler arc, but a pretty good one. It's not exactly on par with the main story but it really isn't too bad, I still found myself invested and interested in the characters. The environments are fun to traverse with the Spiderman-esk grapple mechanic, and the environments feel unique and charming. They do seem a tad different from the environments depicted in the source material, but I feel that's not an issue considering the diversity already found in the islands shown in One Piece. The environments and graphics as a whole are great too, but a little demanding on your computer I enjoyed this game, but you might not if you don't know all that much about One Piece. A lot of this game's charm comes from the incorporation of elements found in the main series, so it would dampen your enjoyment to not understand these intricacies. World Seeker was for sure made for long time fans and not for newcomers, so I would not recommend it if you're looking to get into One Piece with this game. Though the game is good, $90 for the deluxe edition is too much, it's can pass for $60 but 90 is crazy, buy it when it's discounted for sure.

  not as bad as people say. it's pretty fun to unlock new shit. nami's knockers are unironically too big lmao. it's actually hard to focus on the dialogue when her big juicers take up half of the screen

  Stretchy pirate man goes on an adventure and is very cool. Overall 9/10 Movement is really fun and smooth. Combat is very solid and satisfying. Most side quests are fetch quests or is just beat five enemies and that's it. Treasure hunting is optional but is very rewarding. Skill tree upgrades are really good, gives good feel of progression. Story is kinda cookie cutter but is really cool for op nerds. Main game is short, highly recommend getting the DLCs. Getting a full 100% completion for the main story took me just under 24 hours. Haven't finished DLCs yet but the Zoro one is really good so far. Nami jiggle physics. 👍 UPDATED REVIEW: Finished all of the DLCs Definitely worth the extra money, these stories are all really fun to play and extends the games total play time a decent amount Each story took me about 4-5 hours to 100% Each new character changes how you play, so each story has it's own feel which makes them really memorable Tashigi jiggle physics in Zoro's story 👍

  One Piece open world game. Is it fun game? It's fun Is it good game? Uuuh... it's okay at best

  Pros :

  <*>It's fun exploring the island with your power <*>DLCs are pretty fun yep, that's all

  Cons :

  <*>Very limited combat moveset <*>Story is just wild goose chasing some guy <*>Voice acting is pretty limited <*>There's enemies in the city! You think you're having fun flying from building to another building? Nope, you got shot down by a sniper <*>Powercreeping is pretty frustrating as well, at one point you're doing fine and then suddenly all enemies one-shotted you Do I recommend this game? If you're One Piece fan and this game on sale; yes.

  I would recommend this if you like grinding and the one piece universe, but i doubt you would like it with only one or none of these taste. To get the all skill achievement for all character, ive had to replay the last mission with each character an average of 5 time. Ive also had to save and load 50+ times to kill specific set of enemy to farm exp or certain type of enemy kill. The stealth doesn't make too much sense, if you kill an enemy at the same time he spot you, you will fail the mission even if there is literally no one seeing you. (Killing them without them spotting you work though) The resources and chess isnt shared between dlc so you have to start farming again if you want to make equipement for zoro, law, and sabo. The movement is a bit limited, where you can only launch yourself from certain surfaces, which is annoying depending on the spot you are in. Zoro cannot even launch himself which make his story a walking simulator from points a to b without wanting to do anything else since the time to reach somewhere is highly increased. So yeah, honetly if you are not a big fan of one piece, and a fan of grinding the same stuff over and over, just stay away from it

  Exploration is okay for the most part, since movement can be fun (a la spiderman) and the environments are pretty stylized, which is nice. But that's about the extent of it for positives. Combat is uninteresting even with upgrades in game. The story is bite-sized and pretty uninteresting. Characters have their tropes from the manga/anime but you barely see anything from them. Not worth picking up even on sale unless you're a big enough One Piece fan to let that bring you enough enjoyment to continue the game. Your time is better spent elsewhere.
