Don't just don't. No animations what so ever, and you dont see anything really interesting until you get the right ending, then its censored.

Game Length: 1Hour 5/5 Story: Simple / VN stuff 4/5 Gameplay: Interactive minigame of finding the CLUE/Object 5/5 CG: Great! Censored! (DLC has been removed from STEAM and can be obtained elsewhere) 5/5 Grand Total: Honest Statistical Opinion in each category. Can definitely be lower. 9.5/10 Pros: -3.99USD fair and under 5 bucks -Nice story even though it was really short -Great CG -Story + Gameplay all matchup making the game feel nicer and more thematic -Short game for quick access of cg -Has chapters for you to pull up on to redo your achievements unlike oldschool VNs with quicksaving/loading etc... -Has a DLC that has been removed from STEAM obtainable elsewhere -Multiple Endings -Missable objectives/content making for a better or replay value VN that gives players more to do (makes the game feel unique compared to other VNs, or more value to the game itself) -Has ctrl for text skipping Cons: -Censored -Replay value will feel like a chore for boring players who like boring linear point A to point B games -DLC has been removed from STEAM. -Gotta figure out how apply the DLC, not too hard to figure out but no instructions so you'll probably make a couple of mistakes be ready to copy and paste. -DLC overrides the base game, to be more exact it feels like LensLife2 rather than LensLife:AfterStory with new menu and no previous LensLife content/gallery/story/minigames. -3.99usd may feel a bit high for a short game but it wasn't a big issue for me. Highly recommend, the mc is like an antihero and the game has it's own various ending with the true ending making the whole thing pretty wholesome. MC is a peeper but also somewhat decent per say human being. Buy now or wishlist it later if 3.99 was too much for you. I really like this game regardless of how short it was.

Few games delve into voyeurism on any serious level- and in that regard this game is a standout. It does a wonderful job at allowing you the peak into the lives of other characters in a modern and believable way. While the game itself could do for an English rewrite, such things are not uncommon for those of us who brave the small-developer corners. Often times its more about the feel of a game than it is about the syntax. Lens Life very much a visual novel first, and game second. I would say 'dating sim' is a bit of a stretch for this game as, besides the choice of content to view, the only decisioning you make is near the end of the game and the outcome is railroaded into 3 endings. There is an enjoyable 'wheres waldo' feature that offers tidbits and thoughts of how a voyeur would consider items- making the whole package highly specific but also well thought out. Niche is the word I would choose. The game defines itself as a short story- by which it means the game is rather short. It also has very little replay value as all but the endings are obtainable on the first pass. That said, this was a wonderful step in the right direction and with some work this game could become a real contender in the industry. Ultimately- if you like voyeur games, you need to support them. This is a wonderful, short game that delves into that fantasy and is worth your money both for the sake of having a nice game and for supporting the game type. ---------------------------------------- To the developer: Lens 'Life' is a little bit of a stretch, as the game is its more like 'Lens Introduction'. By that what I mean is I would like to see the content expanded. The game so far is a wonderful introduction into the girls life and day to day while they deal with the changing environment of their lives. After we get past 'chapter 4' and we make our decision, there should be a continuation of the story dealing with the outcome of that choice and involving more player interaction. Adapting additional camera scenes to match with the new parts of the story- following both the players interaction with the characters and also the characters private reactions(this will help expand that voyeur nature). I think a good target would be about 10 chapters with the new content starting up as chapter 5 following the initial involvement choice the player makes and a branching decision tree offering different room situations based on player choice after. I also believe that you should expand the item find feature- in the first 'introduction' part by adding more items to find, but after the player decisions start having set items to be found for specific passes. This will add considerable replay value at minimal investment but only works if theres a reason beyond the item hunt to return to the story- thus the branching story. This is in no way a small request, but, with these additions I feel significant value can be added to the game- thus improving your sell through and overall satisfaction of players. You have a wonderful product here- but lets make it even better!

Alright Devs (Zenox), I didn't refund like others because I want to give you a chance to translate the English Text and format them properly. The game has potential. Do not forgo the opportunity to make this game a good one. You do not release games in Steam without proper English contents and context. My 'O' Level Chinese is F9 and English is C5. Though my English has improved over the years having work exposure, I am unable to render assistance to translate any Chinese contents lol. Hope you can find good translators to help you.

A simplistic puzzle game with some twists and turns. Although it is short, it turned out to be entertaining. Needs an erase feature so the other avenues can be explored.

The game its way too short, finished it in like 30 minutes. And the concept its interisting but the actual game doesnt live up to it, it might as well be one of those h**tai puzzle games.

It's a 30m game with very very poor english translation. Not much to write about, some h-cg and nothing else. Make of that what you will.

Lens Life is a hard one to recommend. It's very short. The translation is rough. It's not that interesting. Lens Life is basically a hidden object game where you click on the right things and then the scene plays out. It takes 45 minutes tops to see everything there is to see here and it's all very meh. There is a moral dilemma the game builds up to, but it's not that interesting, because the build up isn't that interesting. There are 3 different endings depending on what you choose to do, but the correct answer is obvious and predictable just like the dilemma itself. You get the happy time content after getting the good ending. It's about as thrilling as the rest of the game. The final achievement isn't working properly. To get Lens Life to pop you need to exit the game after getting all the other achievements and unlocking everything. Then start it again and click on the upper left picture of the girls in the living room at the start of chapter 1 to make it pop. Someone should really fix this. Len's life isn't really bad, but it's not really good either and for that reason I can't recommend it.

A creepy but interesting idea for a game. Unfortunately I can't recommend Lens Life. It is way too short, the translation is really bad, there is almost no gameplay and the story doesn't make sense.
