  A new addition to the Metroidvania collection. I love this genre. It makes no sense to describe anything from this genre, everyone already knows what is included in this genre. The only novelty here is the cursor control for the attack. A strange choice, at first it is very uncomfortable, but you get used to it. The main character has a funny weapon - kunai, feel like a scorpion ^^

  The colossal work of developers from the Middle Kingdom in the metroidvania genre in a post-apocalyptic world. The game combines much more genres in itself, the basis, of course, is a platformer, but the game contains puzzles and some kind of free world and choice, the gameplay is accompanied by cut scenes of a decent level. The plot itself will take you a little over 4 hours, which you will spend in 4 locations, fighting enemies and the boss, improving your abilities, admiring the game world and cool animations.

  An excellent platformer with a pleasant visual style in which we have to explore the game locations, pass a variety of tests associated with the destruction of various monsters, overcome many traps and solve unusual puzzles. All we need to do to uncover the darkest secrets of this post-apocalyptic world. According to the plot, our hero's name is Haak, he is a traveler, and so he decides to go from the north to the south in order to find a hope for survival, and on his way he meets different interesting characters that will tell him all the details of survival in the southern part of the world. In addition, our hero, has unusual skills, such as speed jerk, power strokes and throwing hook, all this will methodically destroy the enemies that get in our way. Fight with enemies we will on perfectly drawn maps with dynamic soundtracks that will allow us to relax after a hard day's work. Fans of colorful platformers are definitely recommended to buy.

  This game is fun, after putting several hours into it, I can guarantee you that, if you like metroidvania, you'll probably like this game. It is thrilling, challenging, charming, and exploring each level, finding secrets and moving through the levels is overall a fun experience. That being said, I think that the game has several issues that you need to consider before buying. My biggest complaint with the game is that the character progression is flawed compared to other metroidvanias. You unlock power-ups relatively quickly, which makes the thrill of uncovering a new movement ability less exciting. I would often find new power-ups while I was still trying to get used to the previous one. Even more frustrating was the fact that on one occasion, I received a power up, and just a few rooms away, I was stuck in a chase sequence where the game expected a near-perfect execution of an ability that I was still trying to get used to. The game is difficult, it has a steep learning curve, but it isn't super punishing with the obstacles you'll encounter. There aren't any insta-kill spikes, or bottomless pits that'll force you to start over. The game has a nice mechanic where you can make the game easier by purchasing items at the expense of reducing your rating, which to me seems to be a great mechanic to help those that maybe don't feel like raging too much. However, the way it's set-up is really annoying, since you'll get push notifications that are quite bothersome. The game has quite a lot of dialogue and lore, which is quite interesting and really makes you want to explore more. The dialogue can be quite funny, with a lot of sass to it, if I'd have to be nitpicky, I'd say the font could be smaller, just to reduce the amount of text-boxes that the game has. The characters tend to be cartoonish in nature, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, although some characters do fall kinda flat. The story itself has hints of hiding something more sinnister, and it really wants to make me learn more about it. The level design is interesting, at times feeling like trial and error, while also allowing you to find shortcuts to save time, after completing it the intended way. Unlike many other metroidvanias, it isn't based around a single large world, but rather several different metroidvania-like levels. I don't think it's necessarily a bad things, but I think I would have liked it more if it was a single-level. Visually, I don't think the game looks bad, and some of the characters and enemies look rather cool, and while some areas of the game seem stunning, and immersive, others look a bit too generic and uninspired for my taste. The controls feel tight, which I think is essential for any metroidvania, but I think there are some aspects where it could improve. Particularly, the grappling hook has a targeting system, but I think it could be a bit better. On the same note, the game has an aiming mechanic where you basically freeze time to use the hook more accurately, but it doesn't feel super precise, and so far I've only used it to find switches. On a side note, the game has crashed a few times. The saving has kept me from losing aby sigbificant progress, but it is a bit annoying, I hope it's fixed. All things considered, the game is worth a try, although with other metroidvania upcoming releases, I think it'll be difficult for it to stay ahead of the pack. Final Rating: 7/10

  Excellent metroidvania! Controls feel responsive and exact, exploration is very rewarding. The only gripe I have with it is sometimes iffy English translation, though it's all perfectly comprehensible.

  Top-tier metroidvania. Great style, good controls, good map, fun exploration. It seems pretty big so far, too! There is also an accessibility/dynamic difficulty system built in to make sure most players can progress. For example: Is this room filling with gas too quickly and it's making you nuts? There's a semi-hidden terminal in the room to slow down the gas!

  Always online single player game? No thanks. Gameplay is really good, localization is subpar, but what made me a tiny little ANGRY was that this game requires you to be always online to play it. NOPE, THANKS.

  just got an update about this game requiring maintenance and being taken down for Dec 6- Dec 7 2022, what is this?? This is a single player metriodvania why does this game require internet connection to play? If you go offline mode it lets you play for a small portion but my assumption is it wont give you access to the full game. This is such horrible practice, there was no mention of this at all in any of of the about in early access or in its current state until now. The game is good for a metroidvania . However, I would heavily suggest steering clear from games that are meant to be single player but force you to have internet connection without giving any indication or warning that this was the structure. Are these merits to receive a refund?
