Check out my Steam Curator page, "Minorthreatt Gaming Reviews." I have the most organized and extensive genre lists on Steam! Be sure to "FOLLOW" for more of my recommendations: http://store.steampowered.com/curator/31339849-Minorthreatt-Gaming-Reviews/?appid=257170 The Short of it: The game-type and theme is right up my alley, but it needs so much more work. It's so empty for content and interactivity. You spend most of your time just waiting and watching, rather than playing. I SO wanted to like this game. Although I cannot recommend it at the moment, the great news is that it COULD be enjoyable with just a bit more work and thought put into it. Here are my basic thoughts and tips on what needs to improve: 1. Game is very low on interactivity. I don't want to just watch it like a repetitive little ant colony; I want to make lots of decisions, fixes, and tweaks to improve how the game club is being run, and how successful it is. Players need more options and more information - we want to play it more than watch it, and right now it is 80% watching it just happen and 20% actual actions and decisions (all of which are a bit boring). 2. There is no information given as to why a customer likes or dislikes their experience in the club. They didn't like the game/console? They didn't like the furniture? The TV? The music being played on the sound system? I have no idea, and thus I have no idea how to improve it for them. If you can't measure it, you can't manage it. 3. The game SO badly needs an option to speed up gameplay by x2, x 5, x10, etc. I actually considered just leaving it running all night while I slept, so when I woke up there would actually be some money to buy some interesting options, etc. But that is not how a management game is supposed to play. Things are supposed to come up, or happen, or change and the player needs to work with these events to keep things flowing. The consoles needing repair is the only event that takes place that needs attention, otherwise you can just get up and leave and there is no consequence. 4. More ways to customize the inside and/or outside of the club would be great. Maybe optional posters for the walls, and the option to sell food/drink. You could buy and sell used video games. You could hold tournaments and other events. 5. The in-game achievements are weird on a number of levels. Firstly, I always seem to get the "1000 people think the club is awesome" before I get the "500 people think the club is awesome" award. That must just be a bug, as it makes no sense. There are other ones that I know I should have received, but they don't happen. Secondly, the ones that ask you to "Have 14 of this console" are completely not fun because it forces you to fill all 14 possible tables with just that console, and then replace them all with 14 of the next required console, rinse and repeat. Why would a store owner buy 14 PlayStations, and then throw them all out (you don't get any money back when replacing them) and replace them with 14 Xbox's? It's counter-intuitive and doesn't make any business sense, so as a player I thought "why am I being asked to do this nonsense task that is totally opposite to what a real business owner would do?" and I quickly lost interest in the game. Players don't want to engage in arbitrary tasks, they want to use their business sense and intelligence to run a game club as best as they can, with a good level of efficiency. Perhaps try creating achievements that really feel like we've achieved something worthwhile. Number of happy customers, variety of consoles, money earned, quality of equipment purchased, etc. are all sensible goals. 6. It drove me crazy that the customers seemingly could care less what console they were playing. They had no preferences, so there was no incentive to understand them or build the club based on their needs. They just sit down at the nearest table, whether it has the oldest system on the worst TV, or it's the highest end computer. They sit down starting on the left most side of the club and fill it up moving right based on table availability. They should be motivated to seek out a variety of systems, so that it forces the player to cater to their needs - just like business in the real world. 7. What does buying a stereo system do in the club? I bought all three options, one after the other, and saw no difference. 8. I feel like repairing a console should have a cost attached to it, whereas currently it is free of cost. There should also be concerns like a rent payment due at the end of month, a day and night cycle, electricity costs, etc. Maybe some consoles are more efficient on electricity and therefore allow more money to be made long-term, etc. 9. It would be awesome to be able to choose at least what genre of video game is being played on each console/PC, or something of that nature. Maybe having a varied library of software in the club increases its popularity and makes more customers show up? Maybe games go up and down in popularity and worth as time goes by? Maybe there's an influx of fighting-game fans, and you could get some actual arcade-style cabinets into the club and line them up against the north wall? More options and decisions are all good things that players will appreciate. 10. Having the option to enlarge the club as it becomes more profitable, or even move it to a different, larger building would be great. Maybe it could have multiple floors too that you could move between? Maybe a larger building could be more customizable and you could choose where the front desk would be positioned, and where desks/consoles would go. I am absolutely serious that if some of these changes are implemented to the point that the game becomes enjoyable, I would love to receive notice or a reply on this review, and I will come right back and update the review to recommended if I feel that way about it after playing it again with updates. You've got a great start made here - keep working at it and improving it and adding to it. This game could be great!

Was a bit of fun for a short while, but seeing how there's no real depth or meaning to anything you're doing, you quickly get the feeling that you could be doing something better with your time. Could have been a great game and I will still recommend it if you're looking for something to fill a boring afternoon, but don't expect the game to entertain you any longer than that one afternoon. It's empty and you're forced to play it all in one sitting, seeing how you can't even save your progress. Nice way to waste an hour or two. But that's about it.

An interesting game that allows you to kill time with passion. The 8-bit atmosphere takes the player into adolescence, when he wanted to spend all his free time in a computer club with friends, to make this club cool in his own way. The economic component makes the game not mindless, it makes you think over a plan. Music maintains the whole atmosphere and adds nostalgic notes.

After seeing the score and the $0.99 price tag I thought it was worth a shot. However, if it can't pass the "many games that are free are better than this" test, I can't give it a positive review. First off, the game has no save feature It is full of graphical bugs It is unclear if any of the items you can purchase actually do anything The game is stuck on the Christmas theme, despite it currently being August The game has very little depth Now if all of that doesn't bother you feel free to check it out. You can get all of the in-game achievements in 90 minutes exactly, as the last one you'll need is the one to play 90 minutes. Have at.

A simple simulation game where you run your own gaming lounge. It's very basic, where the goal is basically to just keep upgrading your facility with better consoles and furniture. Occasionally, a system will break, and you fix it by using the wrench icon. That's basically all that's in the game, and it's ok. The simplicity wasn't a bad thing at all.I ran into a few issues with the game. First of all, it literally doesn't work unless it's in fullscreen, otherwise it cuts the buttons off. Secondly, the controls weren't the best. This is not a good thing for a mouse-based game. It felt like you had to have pixel-perfect accuracy on the problems to fix them.I recommend this game because it's a decent sim game for a low price, but I hope that further development and bug fixing will happen to make this game even better.

At first I thought that it was a cute game where you run your own shop where people play games. Although fun at first, I could not ignore the flaws. The worst one is that there is no save feature. There are also bad game breaking features that make some of the buttons (that, you know, the repairs and some of the options for stuff) stop working. It is really a shame that this game had to be this way. Unfortunately the flaws out-way the pros. 3/10
