  Jesus, Giants! The detail! The house alone would have taken hours to make. There are even dishes in the sink! Thank you all kindly for your efforts and for providing regular folk like us a window into the world of agriculture. In a world where only 1% of people are farmers that feed the rest of us, the resurgence of interest you have created in working the land for a living can only serve to ensure that there are plenty more people headed to farms to become the one percent that will feed our children.

  This expansion is great! The new map is awesome as well. The new machines and vehicles that come with the Platinum Expansion are very well detailed and the sugar cane looks very cool. I recommend picking up this beautiful DLC if your new to FS17 or even a hardcore player like me. The $20 is worth it.

  At first view of the map, it looked alright and the machinery was nice. After a little time on the map i noticed several flaws with it: There's only 1 vehicle shed and it's not even that big. There are a bunch of big tree's in the courtyard right by the 1 vehicle shed that cannot be cut down with a chainsaw and they are probably not the only tree's that can't be. When driving from the vehicle shop to the farm there's a patch of brown dirt which then when you get closer is slightly hidden away by harvestable grass and by that patch of brown dirt there is a bunch of palm tree's with loads of space inbetween them which holds a giant square of concrete which from the road is very much visible due to grass not loaded in at that distance and as i said grass, yep you go closer to the concrete, they just dropped a load of harvestable grass ontop to try and hide it it. When looking at places to sell your produce then you get like 2-3 options where as on the other maps you get many options as to where you can sell your produce. The new machinery seems to evolve around the new sugarcane but they have added a few other machines to make it seem like its not all about the sugarcane. so in the overall aspect, you get a few hours of fun from something costing too much, in my opinion it shouldnt have cost more than 9,99€ instead. i do not recommend this "expansion" if you want long time fun.

  Only 1 word: AMAZING! But, I would've wanted to have the Massey Ferguson sprayer even tho I pre-ordered it from steam and not from the official GIANTS site. Anyway, I totally recommend this DLC if you like Farming Simulator. :D

  I wouldnt recommend this. Pros. new crop and some really nice looking vehicles. Cons. 1 map, it crap, its like a "my first mod map" so flat, not much going on 1 main rd very unfarmlike played 1 hour on it and wasnt even worth saving, back playing the west coast, cause thats a farm is like! £15 for this, not happy about the work they dont in this due to the map, but its you a fan like alot of us wait till a sale like under £10...

  Although somewhat expensive, I mostly like the DLC. The map is a nice break from Goldcrest Valley, and the new equipment is interesting enough. However, after playing ~14 hours on the map, all my vehicles suddenly disappeared -- i.e. a game-breaking bug. Others have experienced the same bug too, not to mention multiple other significant bug reports on the forums. After spending several days trying to debug it myself (I work as a dev and have been for roughly a decade), I spent quite a while reporting the bug in a useful email to Giants, offering my assistance in tracking down the error. I also suggested several steps we could take to resolve the issue, that would require cooperation. And all they did was brush me off with a "did you try reinstalling the game". (Yes I did -- this is not my first time touching a computer, thankyouverymuch.) They clearly didn't even properly read my email. I'm appalled by Giants' response, and disappointed in the bugs. I would definitely recommend the DLC if not for the bugs, but until these get patched I'd say hold off.

  so i bought this on steam because i was excited for the new sugar cane expension and vehicles. i have clocked a ton of hours on farming simulator since i bought my first one in fs 13. i have enjoyed and welcomed the new addons of fs17 like the in depth animal husbandry and logging and was expecting the same thing for this expension. i sort of got it. i like all the new features trailers and various equipment and quality of work i have enjoyed from giants. i think thats where the flaw lies for me with this. the detail of using the tipping trailers of the sugarcane is amazing. sugar cane in itself is a slow growing crop in this game but you also get 3 rounds of crop of one planting. i am in a love hate relation with this addition the added complexity of the tippers is amazing and frusterating as ai cannot use it so your stuck doing your own work. As a fan of fs 17 this was not for me and therefore gets a thumbs down. but it might be for you.

  the only thing i don't like about this add-on dlc is you can't drive the sugarcane harvester yourself in single player because the only trailer that hooks up to it's trailer hitch is too tall to hook up because the trailer hitch is to short i tried every one in the game but the modded ones and if giants would do this small update it would be great but sadly i have to let ai drive it while i follow along side and thats a little disappointing.
