  ... This was a wild experience. My expectations for H games are much higher after playing through Evenicle, and I would highly recommend to it anyone that appreciates a good story. It took me over 80 hours to complete and kept me interested til the very end. The story is definitely what stands out as the game uses its H element to explore some very dark concepts. Full warning, some of the scenes are ROUGH to sit through. That being said, I wouldn't recommend playing for the fap. Some scenes are fantastic and the still art is beautiful, but there isn't a ton of variety in the type of s*x and the story scenes can ruin the mood. The game uses classic JRPG fighting mechanics and does it well, with a little bit of skill customizability added in. Boss fights are a toss up, some will make think to use clever mechanics while others are just big pools of HP to get through. I never felt a need to grind, and if I wanted a break from the main story there is just enough exploring and side questing to get by. Overall, an absolute banger of a game. Definitely is made for the story people, after this rollercoaster I personally am going to find something a little more laid back.

  To point out, I didn't knew much of this game and just had it on my wishlist because I saw the reviews and the price and thought it was indeed worth it. I got it on sell, but the 45 dollar price tag isn't really worth it and I do think this is more of a 25 dollar game. Yes it have voice actors and lots of art with a small bit of story, but after playing it for a bit I can see that this game isn't really worth the price. Pros: The art is good and I do enjoy that they did put in effort into the idea of the creatures as well as the characters. They do seem to have some flavor which will make you giggle or agree they are cute. The combat isn't horrible, though I do feel like it is very much lacking here. There are a lot of sex scenes so if you got this game for that then be sure to click on auto battle and wait for an H scene to show up. Cons: The story is by far the weakest I have ever seen. The MC is someone that doesn't really social with people as he is from an island and he openly greets women like "You're cute" or "Those boobs/butt/legs, damn!" or even "I'll tap that". The music is pretty basic with some free source sound effects, guess they had to cut corners on getting real music but then the price tag... oh dear... The H scenes heavily depends on who is playing this game. Some are more than happy to get whatever they can get while others do have certain tastes that may not reflect to this game. For me, I am not a huge fan of ra.pe scenes and this game has so many of them. There are two ways to skip them, to turn off H scenes altogether or to have already watched it to skip them. I already hear people defending the scenes like it is a fetish or part of japan culture. And yes, there is a fetish out there but that is normally played safely by two already consisting adults which these scenes are very clear that isn't the case. Then the normal scenes are just that, normal and not interesting at least for me. I guess the makers fetish is ra.pe and they really do know how to make a scene very real... The combat is too simple with no real rewards at the end. Even leveling up only increases your attack power by single digits and the weapon upgrades, well, I can't tell if it increases the damage or not. Like most already suggested, just put on auto combat and spin in circles. Steam deck. This game is great on steam deck as it doesn't drain the battery like other games do. However, there are endless bugs, glitches, and sudden flashing that will happen. Sometimes the background text that is suppose to be hidden is now in view and the buttons in town don't appear unless you hover over them. All of this is an easy fix to be honest but the devs seem to have left this game as is to work on other projects. (I know steam warns you this isn't recommended but other games I played like VTM Bloodlines work just fine and that game is nearly 20 years old.) The lore. I am counting the lore here as horrible because it is the most screwed up thing I have ever heard. So let me give you the basics to it. Lore: Every person besides monsters must abide these two rules forever and ever. 1: You cannot kill another human. 2: You must only have one partner forever. If you break any of these two rules then you are told you will loose the Goddess Blessing but to be honest, it feels more like a curse you are getting instead. If you break any of those rules without permission then you will magically wear a black ring that can never be removed and can teleport to anywhere on your body. With this ring you cannot farm, gather resources, work a normal job, be a bounty hunter, or anything of the sort. As soon as you try, well that cow you got for milk died. The gold mine you found? It is now flooded with acid that ruined the ore. Try to go into any city for work, well you are kicked off to the camp where no one knows what will happen to you. So with that, you are left with limit options like stealing to survive, killing to get away from the blessed people that want you hanged, and since you don't have to follow any rules you may as well kidnap any lady you see and force her to be an outlaw like you without her consent. Yup, I said that right, if someone gets forcefully ra.ped then they get cursed against their own will. The outlaws (the title of the curse folks) even have drugs to force women to comply even more against their will. And no, there is no way to remove the curse besides death. Fun. So you would think, I don't know, that women would shut themselves away from men and do whatever they can to keep their blessing title safe, right? Nope. Some will run right off to fetch a cow to only get kidnapped. Others will freely travel without any guards or help on their own with no combat skill to boot. I guess this is this way to give the story all those H scenes so... The MC, well, I cannot relate to him. His goal is simple, to become a knight so he can marry every women he sees. How do you marry someone? By climaxing into them of course! Does it require the women to climax too? Nope, just the guy. He also has no idea what he is saying because he believes he can never get into trouble by talking like an Outlaw 75% of the time. And yet, these women are written to be smitten by the MC seeing them as objects. -10/10 writing skills. So yes, for the price and if you are not into a very limited fetish this game offers you this game isn't worth it. Even more so if you want to use it on your steam deck.

  The gameplay is definitely the weakest part of Evenicle. It's standard JRPG combat with mostly non-threatening encounters that you can just mash basic attack to get through. Fortunately the speedup options and optional autocombat make this fast enough to not be more than a mild annoyance. Some of the story bossfights can be challenging if you're not overleveled, as well as a few optional bosses, but even those are mostly trivialized if you grind for a while. Outside of combat the game is mostly running around an overworld from one story location to the next, with exploration yielding extra treasure, abilities and the occasional sidequest. It's pleasant enough, but nothing groundbreaking. The character designer is the same as for Senran Kagura, and that shows. Character designs are great and most of the art is very pretty to look at, although there's occasionally some weird anatomy going on in the lewd scenes. Overall the sexual content is quite vanilla, but this being an Alicesoft game there are still a few rougher scenes, including both human and monster rape. A few of these scenes show blood and mild gore, but they are quite infrequent. The writing is a strong point, with plenty of fun characters to interact with. The plot on the other hand is nothing to write home about, and you can largely see the twists coming a mile away. The lewd scenes are fairly enjoyable and quite varied (even if mostly vanilla). In few cases the art or characters didn't really do it for me, but with over 60 scenes total there's plenty there for anyone to enjoy. There's a few features lacking compared to other titles (like lack of background sound effects), but that doesn't take too much away from the experience. The game clocks in at about 35-45 hours if you just push through the main story, and 60-70 if you want 100% completion. I'd definitely recommend it to any fan of english language lewd games, it's one of the best ones out there. Gameplay: 6/10 Lewds: 9/10 Art: 10/10 Writing: 9/10

  When Dark Elf was first released despite its horrid translations, bugs and gameplay I gave it a treatment similar to that of a mother to her youngest autistic daughter. Despite how many times she bit my hand or smear poop on the walls I still praised her for not drinking the laundry detergent. Now, the reason for my support has manifested as good eroge has begun to enter steam. From that first paragraph I am sure you can already tell how I feel about this game. If you're as dense as god damned Jupiter, I would let this game do me just as every heroine in this game lets the MC do them. In layman's term, it's at the very least 1000/10. What? A mere number isn't enough for you? You want a thorough review? Aren't we entitled now. But if you want a girl hentai artist's perspective fine, I'll give it to you. But you better be over 18 because I'll be sucking this game's chinchin until my jaw drops. So without further delay let's start! Evenicle is an eroge made by Alicesoft. What's Alicesoft you ask? Just the company that brought to us Sengoku Rance! If you don't know what Sengoku Rance is then please leave this page before I stain your innocent little minds! If that's not enough to get your attention the guy who designed the characters in this game are all by Takashi Torii! "Who's Takashi Torii?"- says some random idiot. Listen you uncultured swine, Takashi Torii is the character designer of Senran Kagura! Senran god damned Kagura! The tandem of these two entities make for an amazing one- two thrust which will surely knock you up I- I mean knock off... your feet. The artstyle is godly, as expected of the man who brought us Senran Kagura. Everyone including the worthless NPCs look beautiful and those who matter look even better! This translates magnificently to the CGs that are all just breathtaking! Best of all, this game has the balls to make sure that everything is UNCENSORED! Because of this, while this work is certainly not the best game to stream, it is certainly the best in making you gush a stream. Whether you're man, woman, trap or reverse trap you will appreciate the amazing details in every art work that transcends our mortal plane! Gameplay is not only decent, but it's fun and engaging! While it pales in comparison to games that really focus more on gameplay it's waaayyyyy ahead of everything else that's on this genre. The overworld looks great and the artwork during battle are also all decent! Furthermore, if you manage to catch "gal monsters", you are rewarded magnificent CGs that are simply fabulous. The difficulty of the enemies are also very challenging! It draws you in by giving you fodder then gradually increases the difficulty until you realize you're being molested by a girl holding a pencil, watch out because she'll shove the business end of that pencil so far up your filthy hole you will be drawing with your lips. Plot is incredibly entertaining. Going into this game I had no expectations for its story but after playing through it I can say that it managed to immerse me in. You're some bloke who can't control his chinchin and always wants to shove it inside women's chitsus, kinda like in real life. You can't do that because if you do, the laws of the world will punish you and label you an outlaw, which is a punishment only equalled by death. The only way you can then do this is by becoming a knight which will give you the privilege to marry someone. How many wives you're allowed to have is dependent on your rank as a knight. Because you're an uncontrollable pervert you've made it your sworn duty to reach the rank of Zero (the highest rank) to be able to get as many wives as you can (10 but who's counting?). In the middle of doing that you get caught up in the affairs of the kingdom and soon find yourself fighting not only for the oppais and denbus but also for the fate of the world! This game surprised me with its many twists which still has me asking for more. Soundtrack is amazing! Each place you go to has a different score which fits the area. Not much really to say here. While it's not the best there is, the soundtrack for this game is nothing short of awesome. Translations do not only work but are the best! None of those machine translations taht sometimes show you moonrunes. It's clear that the studio did not cheap in and really hired a professional to do the translations! Voice Acting... oh god the voice acting. As a girl I am used to the sound of women's lewd moans. After all, if I ever want to hear some I only have open my shameless mouth... to the shame of my parents. Despite that however the voice acting in this game made me blush... and maybe even a little drippy. Characters are all freaking awesome. There's not a single character who's "generic". They're all unique from each other and they all have their quirks. There's the dumb cool one, the bright cute one, the dumb cute one, the socially inept cute bright one, and many more! All the characters in your party have their backstories and they're all explored and fleshed out! Then all the wives that are not in your party are all stellar! And most importantly ERIMO IS BEST GIRL! Overall no matter how much I dislocate my jaw in sucking this game's chinchin I will still not be able to fit its massive girth. It's difficult to swallow... that an eroge like this can take all my time while there are "triple A" games in front of me just waiting to be played. This game is one of the best, if not the best, eroge I've played on steam. It was so good that I bought 2 more for my friends. In summary, if you're a fan of Japanese eroge, then Evenicle is a must buy. If you're new to the genre, it's a game that will gently welcome you into the genre. If you're not a fan of newds and lewds then stay away... why are you even on this page reading this review?! So, for fans, please consider buying this and not pirate it!   I went into Evenicle expecting it to be something similar to Meltys Quest, an RPG maker game with serviceable mechanics and a likeable enough story that serves as a vehicle to get to the next H-Scene. What I instead found was a good RPG with an extremely endearing cast and a shockingly good story. The H-Scenes of course are top tier, as when you develop a connection with the characters it makes the scenes feel more real and impactful. Overall Evenicle is a grand experience and definitely worth the price of admission. Also Ramius is the best girl. Dont @ me.

  So you're browsing the Steam store as usual, looking at the ever-growing collection of lewd-asian-women games you can buy, when you notice one has a $45 price-tag. "That's can't be right," you think, until you go to the store page and confirm that this is, in fact, a $45 lewd-asian-woman game. To the best of my ability, I'm going to help you understand why this game is absolutely worth that kind of money. [b]Story[/b] The story of Evenicle is fairly straightfoward; Aster, our protagonist, must save the world from evildoers. Not only does Evenicle make the story last a full 60 hours, but they make it an [i]enjoyable[/i] 60 hours. Across the game's seven chapters, you will be introduced to the world of Eve, which contains a multitude of countries to explore and people to meet. The story starts off fairly slow and simple; there are an unusually large amount of Outlaws harassing a town near where you begin your journey, and you decide to get to the bottom of it. Over the next few chapters, you're steadily introduced to the unforeseen depth of the Outlaw issue, and your quest becomes more severe and expansive. Not all is bad, though. You're also introduced to some very attractive women, who become instrumental in your quest. The world becomes very large very quickly, with a new country being shown in each chapter. Each country has its own history, people, and troubles that you will come to know Little by little, Evenicle builds an entire world, complete with its own holy book and founding myths. This is one of the game's greatest strengths, getting you interested enough in the world that you really start to care about what goes on within. All of the characters have their own lives, histories, and beliefs. A lot of the characters are genuinely delightful and loveable. Even the villains are not only believable, but enjoyable to come up against. Evenicle is also not above leveraging your love of the world to drive home a point, using methods only possible in an 18+ title. Now you may be asking yourself, "What's Aster's motivation?" This is a very reasonable thought to have, and thankfully it is quite simple: Aster wants to lewd beautiful women. However, to lewd someone means to marry them. Additionally, ordinary people are limited to one partner; if they go over, they become Outlaws as they have lost the blessing of Mother Eve. Knights and their near-endless higher ranks, though, are progressively blessed to be able to take more wives. To rise through the ranks of Knighthood requires heroism and bravery. Thus Aster embarks to save the world more or less because bussi. [b]Gameplay[/b] Much of your time in Evenicle will be spent in the overworld or in a battle sequence. The design of the overworld is overall very playful, with 100 unique points on the map to read about. The world also flows relatively well; countries are visually distinct, and have their own hazards and obstacles, natural or otherwise. In a battle sequence, characters take their turns on the basis of a speed stat. Early on, combat is very simple, perhaps mind-numbingly so. As more characters are introduced to your party, and as enemies become stronger and more diverse, thinking through your strategy becomes very important. To help craft a strategy, your party members have unique skills that highlight their roles in combat. Flexibility ultimately feels somewhat limited, but it's more than enough. One thing of note is that some skills are just objectively kind of bad, not really useful in any situation. Personally, I liked that I was encouraged to try out skills, and put them through their paces to find out what I should actually be using. Combats are generally not difficult outside of a few specific areas and bosses, which is understandable considering the game is as much a visual novel as it is an RPG. [b]The Lewd[/b] Wew. So we're finally here. Being that Evenicle is a $45 game, you should expect there to be lewd of a:[olist] [*]Large amount [*]Large variety [*]Large quality [/olist] Thankfully, Evenicle delivers. There are 35 romances among your wives unlocked by building up your love meter in combat. There are other assorted lewds unlocked by completing parts of the story and any side quests you come across. However, not all of the romance scenes in Evenicle are lewd. A large handful are expressly non-lewd, depicting Aster and his wives as part of a happy family. You can lewd the vast majority of women you meet, on the condition that you marry them. Evenicle does an admirable job of making the romance scenes, both lewd and non-lewd, very pleasant. [b]That End Bit[/b] So is this a good game? My answer is a resounding "yes." Is it worth the money? Again, yes. In conclusion, I love my wives.
