  UPDATE: The game has been updated with a DLC that adds a new game as well as finally makes the SNES version of Aladdin available. I will be making my thoughts known via the DLC's review instead. Well, I am kinda disappointed that the SNES version of Aladdin isn't included. Aside from that, I'm kinda disappointed that the classic cheat codes have been removed- no chance of seeing David Perry's (of Shiny Entertainment fame, creator of Earthworm Jim- he worked on Aladdin while still at Virgin Interactive) mugshot in the game. It's a solid collection as I owned a Sega Genesis (we call it a MegaDrive over here) and actually owned both games in their original cartridge form in my childhood, but the inclusion of the SNES version of Aladdin would've boosted the value of the package tremendously as my cousin who owned a SNES won't stop boasting about it and how it has clever tricks like screen the screen suddenly flipping and rotating in the middle of the level, and how the levels are completely different from the Genesis version. Also, the game plays a tad faster than I remember it, probably because my MegaDrive was a PAL unit. That said, the game was far more forgiving on my real MegaDrive than on this, as the PAL speed slowed the game down a bit and made it less frantic. I wish there was also a PAL mode to make it easier on those of us who're used to the PAL speed and age have caught up on us and dampening our reflexes. A solid package otherwise. Also, well, they could've included the MS-DOS versions of the games, which has higher resolution graphics (and in Aladdin's case, a more intuitive status bar) but is otherwise identical to the console counterparts gameplay-wise, but it's just me. Also, the PC versions of the game has known issues, however minor. And well, they could've included the Game Gear version of The Lion King instead, but yeah. Might as well even ask for the Atari ST and Amiga versions of both games... It's still a solid package, but yeah, could be much better. I still recommend it anyway, but there is room for improvement. Pros: - Contains both the Genesis, SNES and GBC version of The Lion King, as well as the Genesis and GBC version of Aladdin - Save states, plus a unique rewind feature - Extensive documentation and development notes included Cons: - SNES version of Aladdin not included, and PC versions of Aladdin (with higher resolution sprites and different status bar) and The Lion King (with higher resolution sprites and improved music) not included. Heck, versions not mentioned above in Pros (Game Gear, Master System, Amiga, Atari ST, NES) are not included. - No PAL mode - Cheat code screens removed. RAAB, BARRY, ACACACACBBBB does nothing.

  Not only does this have some janky, weird work-build of Aladdin playable, but it includes a "Final Cut" version where they went in and fixed the game up just to show the game at its best. This is a level of commitment i've never seen before in official game preservation.

  ***** FOR THOSE SAYING THAT ALADDIN IS NOT INCLUDED ***** I stumbled upon the same problem, so I decided to contact Disney support. They said that SEGA and Gameboy versions are included but the SNES version is not. I check the game again, and when I scrolled to the right inside Aladdin menu, I was indeed able to play these versions. Although it is a bit hard to figure it out at first, the game is indeed included :) ********************************************************** As for the game content itself... It's my childhood reborn, it doesn't even need a score... Just tears of joy when playing these games, specially The Lion King... Thank you Disney!!!

  Pure anti-consumerism. The title of this product is "Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King" One might expect that it includes both Aladdin and The Lion King, right? Negative. It ONLY includes The Lion King. If you want Aladdin, you have to purchase a separate DLC pack. Which at the time of the current sale, costs twice as much as the base game. Unforgivable.

  DON'T BUY!!! complete ripoff The title suggests you get two games, but on truth it is only one. Aladdin is not included, only Lion King is there. but of course you can pay another 10$ or what for the thing they made you think you already got. The DLC is conveniently not listed on the store page, so you will only find out after purchase they are ripping you off.

  Game only includes Lion King, despite being called "Aladdin AND Lion King, implying both games. Aladdin is another $10.

  I regret buying the Switch cartridge with $30 when I saw this much cheaper PC version. Damn I wanna refund that. PS. where's THE JUNGLE BOOK? You should add it to this collection.

  Title says "Aladdin AND The Lion King" Screenshots say the same. But its only The Lion King. Also game is advertised as 1080P graphics. Not true. its 800x600 screen wrapped in static picture. 100% scam

  [h1] 𝔸 𝕥𝕣𝕚𝕡 𝕕𝕠𝕨𝕟 𝕞𝕖𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕪 𝕝𝕒𝕟𝕖, 𝕗𝕠𝕣 𝕥𝕙𝕠𝕤𝕖 𝕖𝕒𝕣𝕝𝕪 𝟡𝟘𝕤 𝕜𝕚𝕕𝕤 𝕨𝕚𝕥𝕙 𝕓𝕝𝕒𝕔𝕜 𝕓𝕒𝕘𝕤 𝕦𝕟𝕕𝕖𝕣 𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕚𝕣 𝕖𝕪𝕖𝕤! [/h1] Although I think this game and its DLC are way overprice for simple, literal "roms" from your childhood, the collection in itself does a great work at being an independent "emulator" of sorts. Therefore, and as for any other "classic games' collection, this has Rewind, Save State and Load State functions as well as full controller support and no "graphics" filters, giving you a true nostalgic experience. As opposed to other collections, however, you get only two games for 9 dollars on sale, and that's a bit overprice in my opinion. To compare this to Namco's Museum; this latter sells you almost 10 games for the same price. The two games this includes are the old Genesis Aladdin game with all its versions as well as The Lion King from the same console. If you want to play the SNES version and add on The Jungle Book, you'll have to buy a DLC that's also 9 dollars (If I were you, I wouldn't do that lol). The achievements are easy and do not require you to buy the DLC to 100% them. Anyways, the collection is solid but my score is still 6/10 simply for the price it goes for! If it had a graphical filter that made the games look "more polished", I'd probably forgive how overpriced the game is; but the fact is that it doesn't, hence why I do not agree with the price at all. At best, it should go for 12 dollars full price and 5 dollars on sale.
