  I like it. It feels good. Note I am using a Hori Apex racing wheel. You may not enjoy it as much with a gamepad. Be sure to change the steering axis gamma to linear if you have a wheel. I am only an hour or so into the game. I do not know how sophisticated the vehicle customization is. It would be nice if I can tweak the suspension and such, but I don't know if that is possible. If you damage your vehicle it will effect it's performance. You can even lose a tire if you are not careful. As far as I can tell there are no nitro boosts. [b]PRO[/b] + Nice sim-cade racing feel + Decent graphics (for it's time / DX9) + In-car camera option + Rear-view mirror (WOW!) + Customizing in-game music with your own MP3 files is super easy + Vehicle damage + No rubber-banding that I can see [b]CON[/b] - No vibration support for my racing wheel. - Custom music tracks do not play very loud. - The game is picky about which custom MP3 files it will play. Removing the ID3 tag with AudioShell seems to help.

  Yes, really nice game. I came from PT. I am huge fan of this games, but... expected to play CRC with friends from around the globe. How pitty there's no such multiplayer.

  One of my favorites from 2005 I still got the original CD but wouldn't play because of that Security file on it. I have played about 30 mins and its outdated now but still enjoyable and great in full screen. Any old gamers like me should give it a try.

  What can I say!!! I bloody love it! I had doubts about this game as it was released in 2005 and I thought nope will be blurry with horrible physics! Its exactly not that! 1920x1080 everything on max and it actually looks pretty good! Infact very good when you consider nothing has been remodelled. I suspect the textures have been updated and new shaders have been applied but its so much fun! The tracks are highly original. One lap can take you along tarmac, gravel, along a stream, back to gravel, back to the stream and then back on the tarmac. The ai are great fun and you can shove over a wall or for a good barrel roll and the replays just show how good the crash physics are. What more can I say? I love it!!!

  CRC Extreme is a Patched and Fixed Version of CRC 2005. If I have anything to say about this title, it is that this game is one of the first original games that has helped model the current generation of racing games as we know them today. This title feature's also the game mechanics that was later used in the online racing games that I loved back in 2007~2014 (Level-R / Project Torque and Heat Online) Pros: - Can be an easy game for newcomers as a challenging one for experts. - A realistic and tunable car handeling system - A good physical deformation damage model (you wamm too hard, your a pancake) - A decent amount of cars that you earn from completing your career - A multiplayer mode to play whit your friends. - An ajustable firstperson camera view in cockpit - Possibility to add your own .mp3 music files in teh game - Support for the H shifter (work whit mouse also and its funny AF) Cons: - The multiplayer servers are not showing up (you can still connect directly to your friends IP adress or using hamachi or whatever similar program you like) - DX9 (its a bit outdated) Overall Score: 9/10 A must play for any who like's and want to learn racing basics !

  FUN!!! But you need a wheel controller or gamepad. Keyboard controlling is difficult.
