  there is no other game, to my knowledge, where a pastor is willing to pay $250 for a 15 second cab ride that is basically a near death experience to ensure he's not late to the church that is literally only 80 metres away from his original location.

  Crazy Taxi, a game I used to enjoy for many hours without making much progress, even today when i play the game i don't seem to perform better than i did a long time ago, yet Crazy Taxi remains a title that will stay with me forever because of the nostalgia and the wonderfully absurd combination of taxi time pressure and punk rock. Check out my progress in the game here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0l_XbSIuHc Craxy Taxi is a fun arcade game and one of the better games from the Dreamcast and later also on other consoles and until it finally found its final destination on the PC? (How does Crazy Taxi VR sounds?) As is known, the aim is to bring customers to their destination as quickly as possible. The graphics are simple, but not bad and easily bring you back to a great old gamer's day, it fits right in with the arcade atmosphere, maybe because the original was also an arcade game first. The sound is very good and well-known punk bands from the 90s provide the background music. The gameplay is repetitive, because there is nothing new to unlock, but I admit that the game has an addictive element and you pick it up again from time to time.

  Game is good, but the Steam version sucks out of the box. To get the original (good) music back, make analog controls work and give you some other goodies, make sure to install these mods: https://cookieplmonster.github.io/2021/08/08/crazy-taxi-dreamcast-restoration-silentpatch/

  + Both the "Arcade" and "Original" cities from the console ports are included, as well as Crazy Box + Easily runs at 60FPS no problem + Full controller support + All the cheat codes still work (including the bike cheat) - The soundtrack was replaced with some generic music, and some of the real-world locations like KFC and the Levi's store were changed to generic store names. I realize this was probably due to licensing issues, but still a bit of a disappointment. - The game runs up to 1080p, but the 2D elements (eg menus and the in-game hud) look extremely un-optimized and pixelated. If you've ever played an N64 or PS1 game on an emulator at high resolution, it looks sort of like that. - Graphic options are pretty nonexistent, but they include some basic options like anti-aliasing and vsync.
