Crazy Machines 3 Funciones

Higher, faster, larger, crazier, trickier, and so much more 3D: that's Crazy Machines 3!

Place missing pieces into zany chain reactions and turn them into ingeniously working machines to solve puzzles like these:

How do you successfully punch an Egyptian statue in the face? How do you shoot a kettle from the head of a clumsycorn with a 'high precision crossbow'? How do you jumpstart the grey-matter-engine of that old junker of a space taxi?

Find out in Crazy Machines 3!

Prepare yourself for the ultimate playground of vast Rube Goldberg style possibilities!

Use physical systems to your advantage, no matter if it’s electricity, explosions, lasers, lightning, or wind. By tinkering with chips you can delve into even deeper detail and provide objects with individual properties. Nothing is impossible. If you don't like that wooden plank, take your pick from different materials like metal or stone and change the size, rotation and color. It is, after all, your own machine...

Additionally, we invite you to use Steam® Workshop to gain access to a possibly infinite supply of puzzles and machines to implement into your game. And when you build your ultimate machine, you can share it with the whole world with a single click.

  • Free content updates with new machines, parts and objects in the near future

  • Extensive and powerful editor for creating your own machine parts

  • More than 220 objects and over 300 single parts you can choose from

  • Creativity meets freedom: create and experiment with different materials and colors

  • Steam® Workshop access for a possible unlimited supply of parts and levels

This game is a throwback to the 90s when games like The Incredible Machine kept you entertained for weeks. Definitely worth buying if you enjoy such puzzle games!

I've never heard of this series so I don't have any nostalgia or anything for it - suffice to say I'm glad I only paid 99 cents for it. It's far more about pixel perfect placement/trial and error than it is about like physics. Prepare to have a Steam walkthrough in the background and have a lot of "what the fuck" moments when the bunny doll doesn't do what it's supposed to because a light bulb you placed on the other end of the level was in a /slightly/ wrong position. Also, the game really suffers from being 3D. With some objects it's impossible to tell how they'll behave depth-wise and even if you think you've got it figured out, a prop will just tumble off into the fore/background. Also also, maybe this is supposed to be a "feature" but it's always very unclear what things will do until you try interacting with them. And it's almost impossible to tell what's part of the scenery, what's a prop part of the puzzle, and what's a prop not part of the puzzle. That said, it's better than nothing when you need a distraction with something in the background.

Game is basically 'put the pieces in the EXACT spot the devs want'. You don't even get a rotate, there seems to be only one way to win each stage. I'd steer away from this, apparently the original is better.

I played the first Crazy Machines as a kid, and spent my time in the editor littering the corkboard with bombs and blowing robots out of the screen. I picked up this game, and now i'm building more elaborate and thoughtful contraptions. Instead of using bombs and robots, I'm building elaborate contraptions with many steps-although the goal is the same. it's still fun as hell to blow unicorns up with gas barrels, make modified trebuchets, etc. A lot of fun all around, definately recommend!

Had so much fun as a kid with The incredible machines. Now it's back. And it's the same and better! Nice puzzles better graphics. 10/10 would buy again. Have fun!

This game challenges your eyes more than it does to the brain. It's always a hasle to find the exact point to place an item as it can collide with background items. Some items in the background are 3d and some are not, and you have no way to know that other than trial and error. Figuring where to place items is so frustrating that it's more difficult than figuring out the solution to the puzzles. By the way I was able to solve some puzzles just by dropping an unrelated item on something without even looking at the rest of the puzzle, which is another proof that the developers didn't give much time to test the game. I recommend The Crazy Machines 1 and 1.5 series, though. They were good games back in the time.

This is a really nice Incredible Machine clone, for the most part. Unfortunately, it gets bogged down in weirdly arbitrary rules about what can clip through what, both when constructing your machine and during the test run. Like the power bar that can't plug directly into a generator, or the "shelf" that a battery falls right through, or the rope that can connect to a balloon in one level but not in the next. It seems like the game is using those rules to artificially make puzzles more challenging, rather than making genuinely challenging puzzles while rewarding innovation. To add insult to injury, the game interrupts your play to ask if you'll give it a thumbs up on Steam, and later again to ask if you'll follow it on Facebook. Frankly, if it hadn't asked me that, I just might have.

I give this game a reluctant recommendation. Reluctant, because I didn't find the puzzles particularly challenging nor satisfying. The production values are pretty high for a game of this type and the game ran fine on my system, a 5 year old mid-range computer. The graphics might be a bit cartoony for some, but I felt they fit the overall personality of the game. It might be a challenging game for a young person to play, or someone who is a more casual player and isn't interested in solving hard puzzles. The majority of the puzzle solutions were straight forward, just put the stuff in the only place it can/should go, a piece at a time, and build on that. Some puzzles required a bit more thought or experimentation, but they were few and far between in the main campaign of 80 puzzles. While the graphics are 3D, the actual puzzles and solutions are 99% 2D. In a few rare puzzles, pieces can pass in from of other pieces. I didn't find any satisfactions in solving the puzzles. Most of the solutions were far too simple to need or evoke an "Aha!" moment. Other solutions felt like I was either cheating the game mechanics a bit or otherwise missing the "real" solution. But, my solution satisfied the game and I didn't care enough to put more time into it. If you're looking for challenging and rewarding puzzle games, steam has better. If you're looking for something on the casual and less challenging side or something for a younger child, Crazy Machines 3 might fit your need.

TL;DR It's a "guess what developer was thinking" kind of game. I hate to give this game a negative review since I absolutely love physics in games and physics in general, but I had no fun playing this game and here's why: - There's no alternative ways of completing objectives, except the one designer made. - Grid based placement is pain in the a** especially when dealing with gears. - Objects clipping, especially cords, doesn't help. It's like some object are deliberately pushed back just to clip with scenery, so you are forced to place objects the way designer wanted. - Physics in general took a step back from compared to CM2. CM2 had more advanced physics simulation, destructible objects, particle collision, even water simulation in later packs. - Changing a position of object on one side of a scene will affect the movement of object on another part of a scene even though they are not connected in any way. Only good thing I can say is that the game looks nice. Honestly can't believe there's so much positive reviews. Well I can. It's because you're asked to rate it some time into the game before the frustration kicks in. I have to give developers credits for that, really awesome trick to make the reviews positive. If developers ever make CM4, I hope they'll make it more open to come up with alternative solutions and ditch the grid based placement. Cheers!
