  this is not a great game but it's a hell of a lot of fun the writing is camp, the acting is hammy, the gameplay is kinda repetitive, and man some of the enemies are goofy but none of those is necessarily bad. it has a lot of points in charm and style, and your two options for experiencing it are to either just shut your brain off and enjoy the spectacle, or laugh at the silliness i recommend both for a good time

  Good: This game was very fun to play. I was alittle nervous at first but I did make it past the first level at is. I like this game because it is a shoot'em up game where face against countless of demons blasting them with your broomstick machine gun. Not to mention the more kills you get after finishing the game the more points you get to either power up or to buy some better weapons. My favorite is the magic you receive like flying crows, crucifying rose pedals, a magic wall to block you from gun fire, and of course telekinesis. But most of all is the demon voice that grants you powerful abilities like lightening strike, tornadoe, and my favorite meteor shower. Its really awesome game play and I would refer it to anyone. Bad: Even though the game is fun to play there are some things you can't get away with. I thought starting over playing the levels over and over would strengthen my chances of powering up which it did. But once you pass a level it doesn't matter if you saved it or not. The levels are not saved. So if you decide to start over to get extra points I suggest play level 1 and 2 and start over. It would be easier that way to build up experience points. Another thing are the abilities. If you happen to gather all the abilities and beat the game. Once you start a new game you start over from scratch. You can keep all the upgraded weapons but your powers won't resurface until you pass through the levels again!. So unless you just want to keep shooting up things than be my guess. One more thing. There only 5 levels but they are pretty long. So you won't have to worry about being disappointed.

  Simultaneously the most mid 2000s video game ever made and most video gamey video game ever made. This game is art in the same gallery that houses houses deadly premonition. some of the selling points include: - a dash that spans half the map - physics? - cliping - going through a wall - a spell that takes 15 seconds to cast with theme music resulting in a comically timed tactical nuke - best sewer level in a video game - vomiting blood to revive people - an enemy that's every movement looks like it's having a seizure - a boss that is a huge fish demon that is made of bone from a Lovecraft short story and is a fish that pumps out eye ball sperm. Jank is charm, jank is art.

  game slaps and, most importantly, this port slaps: - unlimited fps - rebinding keys and controller mapping - works and runs great from launch (if you have a controller plugged in*) - well optimised (experienced no dips in the frame rate) def worth a buy IMO (bought on sale so mileage may vary) *the only technical hick up I experienced was from not having a controller plugged in when first launching which, for some reason, causes the game to hitch constantly in menus, gameplay and cutscenes making it pretty much unplayable. Luckily it's a very easy fix as I was planning to play with controller anyway... if you don't have a controller on hand you have to disable any unused HID devices through device manager which can be annoying (if you need help doing this consult pcgamingwiki.com )

  The witch is hot, the bullets are many, the spells are huge. Quality be damned, I had fun with Bullet Witch.
