Boneraiser Minions Funciones

~ In a time long ago, those with forbidden power over the dead were branded as wretched Boneraisers. Such heathen were hunted, hanged, burnt, and staked, and their remains sealed within sanctified mausoleums. But what those fearfully foolish folk did not realise, is that those whom are already dead, cannot be killed. You are one such filthy Boneraiser! ~

Gameplay

As a reviled Boneraiser you must amass an army of skellies and deamons to fight the endless waves of heroes intent to end your necromantic ways. In this gothic-horror auto-battler roguelite, use the bones and souls of slain heroes to raise and upgrade undead minions, and collect powerful relics and spells to turn the tide of war. Unlock meta upgrades to improve your boneraising abilities, but crucially you must also bolster the Godly heroes' forces too in order to gather enough resources to defeat your nemesis King Gigald's crusade!

Features

  • Boneraising auto-battler action: Dash around avoiding enemies and collecting their bones to raise and upgrade minions who fight for you! Each minion type has their own fighting styles, from melee pulverisers and magical missilers, to supporting hexers and augurs.
  • Multiple game modes: There's several game modes to keep play fresh. In Mausoleum Awakens you must protect your crypt against King Gigald and his forces, making best use of traps and contraptions you place before the show. There's Necrotic Skirmishes for a quick bash to simply see how long you can last against an ever growing horde of meanies. The Daily/Weekly Challenge were you compete against the world on an equal footing. There's Clashful Cards, a collectable adversarial card game offering respite from endless boneraising. And a full Castle Conquest mode where you travel through various maps choosing your path in a quest to conquer the Queen's Palace!
  • Relics and Spells: There's not just bones to suck on during the fight. You will find curious Relics with strange boosts and abilities, or Spell Scrolls with powerful attacks or buffs to be used at the perfect time!
  • Boneraise Lore meta: Between games use collected coins to increase your abilities and boneraising powers, such as learning to raise Enboned Giants and Possessed Deamons. Meta can also be upgraded and refunded, encouraging you to play around and find your perfect meta loadout!
  • Heroic Force meta: You must also bolster the forces against you too if you wish to survive King Gigald. Why not provoke a Beggar's Revolt, Goblin Looters, or Mercenary Cyclops, and use their bones to raise an ever greater army of dead!
  • Class Heritage meta: By stealing hero souls you can also learn new abilities and perks for a particular class. Each class offers their own playstyles, from the Liche who prefers quantity over quality, to the Deamologist who favours huge deamonic minions. Or even classes that specialise in raising versions of the enemies themselves!
  • Steam Leaderboard: Battle your foes, and your friends, to reach first place on the online Steam leaderboard! Even after defeating King Gigald the crusade wars are endless, and only the greatest legion of undead ever assembled will reach the top spot!
  • Soundtrack Album: Comes with an album of all the game's catchy tunes (check your Steam Music Player!)

This is a fantastic little game that more than justifies its price of entry. This is one of the few first Vampire Survivors-like that is actually interesting enough to justify its existence. I definitely feel like I've gotten my money's worth my four hours of playtime at the time of writing this, and I plan to keep going to try and unlock all the achievements. +Fantastic pixel art +Amusing writing +Bop-worthy music +Good amount of content for the price (though I'm excited to have more content added during EA) +Upgrades for classes, your character in general, enemies and arena customization +Fun little card-based minigame, which seems to be a staple of Caisyware's games -As with most games of this type, it gets hard to process what's going on later in a round as the screen fills up with minions and enemies -The boss fights are pretty uninteresting. They aren't challenging enough and have very basic attack patterns Kemo's Corner.

Wow. When you least realize it you've already poured a few hours into this! Vampire Survivors has really spawned a genre of its own with this whole arena rogue-like become-the-bullet-hell genre that also includes choices upon levelling up (gacha-style). A lot have popped on Steam, most Early Access and this one is no exception. However, for an Early Access it already feels quite full and complete. My only hope is that they won't over-complicate it as updates begin to roll in since so far the mechanics are easy to grasp, the minions are all cool and fun to use and you don't need to be a min/max math guru to have fun. I simply had a blast from the go and it wasn't as frustrating as others I've seen around. It helps it's all done very humorously, with Shakespearean English with a high dose of memetic value, full of tongue in cheek comments. The graphics are also the right amount of chunky 2D pixel action with a good set of tunes to boot and, thankfully, it should easily run on most configs. I played it using the Xbox One pad and it goes without saying it was the best experience since you don't have to aim or anything and instead control an army of undead minions as your main means of offense. Level your precious ones up until they reach their full potential and crush those disgusting humans trying to ruin your undead party with sombreros divertidos. (I do hope they add some Día de los Muertos/Día de Todos los Santos themed minions and enemies, that would be neat.) Whatever future updates bring, I hope it certainly goes to do its own flavor of this now shiny and surprisingly engaging genre. Either way, go get it now. For that price it's just hard to say no.

Call it a Survivorlike, a reverse bullet-hell, roguelite auto-battler; this game is distinct from many other titles like Vampire Survivors, Nomad Survivors, etc. Through progression, you unlock new minion types and levels to said minions, relics that give you and/or allies buffs, to spells that you can activate to, say, summon a giant ball of flame to incinerate your enemies. There are even elements of base-building in that you can unlock items to replace a set grave with a stabby-spike, or an explosive totem. Honestly, for the price, this game already has a lot going on and new content comes out regularly. I sincerely recommend this to you, even if you just think it looks and sounds fucking groovy.

This game checks so many boxes for me: ✅ Adorable little undead minions ✅ Spooky Halloween-ish atmosphere ✅ An abundance of purple ✅ A dark sense of humor ✅ Old-school pixel graphics ✅ C64/NES-style music This game has it all. Customize your little necromancer with cool hats and different robes, choose who is in your current army and who becomes stronger, and use souls and gold coins to power up. I'm not usually a fan of the roguelite genre, but this has so much evil charm and amazing gameplay, I can't help but love it. I will happily wise fwum muh gwave every time. Oh, and PUMPKIN BRO IS BEST BRO. 🎃🎃🎃

If you tire of Vampire Survivors but hunger for more games of that same type, Boneraiser Minions is the one to go for. It brings insane amounts of enjoyment for its price tag and you can tell whoever made this has put a lot of love into this game.

This is a great example of this sort of game. Its colorful, creative and most of all has a dev that truly seems to care about what is being built. Ive seen MANY suggestions made in the forum, not only answered by the dev, but put into the game in some cases very quickly. KUDOS to the dev. This is Early Access done right. Not afraid to try things, making changes as needed along the way. Im curious to watch this progress thru Early Access.

When people said this game is better than Vampire Survivors, I initially didn't believe them. I was genuinely wrong. Its certainly different, but fundamentally the game is similar to what you get playing Vampire Survivors. You control a character, and contact with enemies damages you. You do not control your attacks, you can simply walk around collecting pickups in the hopes of leveling up and acquiring better means of defending yourself. The differences though are what make the game, in my opinion, more interesting and offer a lot more variety. 1st - You raise minions who do all the combat for you. Unlike in vampire survivors, where you slowly acquire weapons that your character automatically uses, in Boneraiser your surrounded by a goon squad that has 2 priorities: 1. kill enemies, and 2. protect you - in that order. Its always fun watching your "guard" run off screen to the left fighting ever more ridiculously armored folks. Because your units move around, you have to occasionally dip out of the safety of your wall of defenders and bullets to grab items - meaning even late game you can be vulnerable. Your defense is a fluid, living thing. 2nd - The map is small, fixed in size, and customizable. Your playing area is a small square of land surrounded by a dark woods. Enemies emerge from these woods to attack you, but you can tinker with your battlefield and fill it with traps, buff items, and other stuff. Its actually cool, because kiting becomes that much more challenging, and the map mid to late game can feel downright cramped with how much fighting is occurring in it. 3rd - You have more to do at any given second. The game isn't just walk around and collect the bones, much like how vampire survivors occasionally has you walking around collecting gems. You do have bones, which you can use to raise minions, but you also can pick up spells (super abilities you can cast), you can dash (very important since you don't have as much space to wander around) and many of your traps and defense are activated - meaning you have to go over to them in the middle of a fight and light the fuse. Additionally, you have relics, which can be things like weapons that fire automatically yes, but also minion buffs, curses, and just game-changers for your current run. 4th - There is variety galore. There are classes that play entirely different from each other, from a class that literally can't summon minions and instead plays like a war mage, to a class where you level up wax dolls and as they gain combat experience you can turn them into different units turning the game into a squad based strategy game. There's even a literal vampire survivor - who uses a gaggle of weapons to fight off the meanies coming to stab them in the heart. 5th - The meta-progression is just better. You make progress, actual progress, every run - unlike vampire survivors where sometimes it was achievement or luck based, here you collect gold and souls and spend those on meta upgrades. Add more enemy types, upgrade your defenses, add more features to your unlocked classes, even add new spells and trinkets. All of it, defined progress, every single run. Its fantastic. I recommend it highly, doubly so if you played vampire survivors and enjoyed it. If you have not purchased vampire survivors, buy this first and see if you like it. If you do, you'll get hundreds of hours and in my opinion the better game of the two.

Amazing game for the price. I've 100%'ed vampire survivors and I much prefer this game. a lot more depth, variation and skill based gameplay. Works flawlessly on the steamdeck.
