  I needed to check this out and even join Steam to do so! Impressive graphics, complex behaviour modelling of fish. This is early access -- there are not hundreds of items and creatures yet, but they will come if the developers fulfil their announcements. Would be great to have social features to show off your tanks. In summary: this appears to be the most impressive aquascaping tool to date.

  I was debating getting this game or aquarium designer, I much prefer this game. Edit: I think the only thing this game is worse at is fish selection. However, the Devs have said more fish will come. Overall you can go into much more detail. It doesn't have a campaign like aquarium designer, but I think a aquarium game doesn't need a campaign.

  Very short playtime but what is listed as an acropora is actually a montipora. Not gonna leave a negative review based on that, just wanted to point that out. Would love to see more species of fish and coral added though. Seems like a game I'd enjoy

  This game is by far the most realistic aquarium simulator you can find. Particularly if you like aquascaping, this game is excellent to get your ideas down "on paper" first and then make them come to life irl. I have been playing around with it and coming up with aquascaping ideas that I've had for a long time in this program and it far surpasses anything else I could find before it. There's still room for improvement with regards to the number of plants/fish/shrimp that are offered in the game (ex: they lack shrimp) and there's some improvement with how the game runs, but I've been popping these ideas to the developers and they seem very responsive, excited and all around invested in what they've made. If you're a fishlover and aquascaper like me, this program is way better than what else is out there right now and it's super worth the 10 bucks I paid. If anyone wants anymore detail or is on the fence about buying it, shoot me a dm and i'd be more than happy to answer. I think this game would be a great way to get more people involved in the hobby of fishkeeping and aquascaping. Super excited for what's to come

  I have been an aquarium enthusiast all my life and love all kinds of fish, from common goldfish to the more exotic betta. I have only played a short time, but played enough to know this is one of the most realistic fish-tank simulators I have ever come across. Most of the games I have played in the past, were quite cartoonish in graphics, and you have to complete tasks and quests to advance to other tanks and fish, which makes it seem more like a job No so with Behind Glass. You are given all fish, tanks and decorations/scenery upfront. And the Devs are constantly adding more content, and the fish are so amazingly life-like and behave much like their real-life counterparts. If you have always wanted a large tank filled with all kinds of fish to enjoy, but didn't have the money or space (like me), Behind Glass is indeed the next best thing

  I am the Taiwanese Player,and I really love this game,the fish and creature looks really lively and they look great interacting with the rock and plants and everything inside the tank. thought there is still something that I think it can do better(Like the Arowana,its active still looks a little stiff.)but this is still a great works. I hope this game can add more strange species,like bichir, Australia lungfish,alligator gar something that it is hard to feed in real life. Please forgive my poor English /OWO/. 我是一名台灣玩家，我真的很喜歡這個遊戲，魚和生物看起來很活潑，它們與岩石和植物以及缸內的一切互動看起來很棒。 當然還有一些我認為它可以做得更好的東西（就像 龍魚，它的活動看起來仍然有點僵硬。）但這仍然是一部很棒的作品。 我希望這個遊戲可以增加更多奇怪的物種，比如多鰭魚、澳大利亞肺魚、雀鱔，這些在現實生活中很難餵養的東西。 請原諒我糟糕的英語/OWO/。 P.S.   As someone who cannot keep fish due to living in a rented flat, this is a welcome little gem. I bought this, alongside My Koi and Megaquarium, and all three scratch a very different itch. I do find the rotation mechanism a little fiddly as it stands, and it would be nice to play 'scattered' objects precisely and individually. Other than that, I have no gripes. Would essentially love to see more of everything, so looking forward to whatever the developers come up with. Great stuff.

  I made the most gorgeous aquarium, but I cannot add any creatures. It just says, "Oops. Something went wrong. Error details: Maximum Creature Complexity Reached. (But I don't have a single creature or fish in the tank.) Not sure what is up with that, but I'd love to add some fish to my stellar aquarium! There simply shouldn't be a complexity limit on anything like that in this game, and it's not worth playing unless that part gets fixed. Fingers crossed it does, because I know I reached the complexity limit for scattering stuff. I finally have a bad ass computer that can handle that sort of thing, yet I'm denied adding anything more to the tank. Not sure why there is a complexity limit, but it ruins it for me.
