  The game is good. The developer is not. He acts friendly, but he censors comments, ignores people he wrongs, and his actions contradict his claims. His community is toxic. They have persecution complexes about any criticism for this game, despite the dev claiming he welcomes critique. You can praise it all you want, but the second you think a bit could be improved, they'll accuse you of tearing the dev's creation down or only ever complaining about the game. It's a case of the most active members being those self-entitled judgmental types who can't stand anyone who doesn't behave the way they insist others have to around them. The problem is that the dev doesn't do anything to discourage this. He enables it. He's been made aware of this bullying culture, but refuses to do anything about it. He hired two mods, but didn't give them rules to enforce or any direction on what to do, nor did he hire them on credentials, just nepotism, then set and it forget it. The mods proceeded to engage in misconduct and authority abuse while the dev acted tone-deaf by talking about updates to his new game and answering any questions EXCEPT about the bullying enabling going on. Think this isn't a problem? Well, due to the lack of any real official guides, you HAVE to go to the Discord server to get help with dodgy game mechanics or obscure quest progression. So you NEED to get exposed to this toxic fanbase at some point. Just watch what you say, or the cyberbullies will descend to accuse you of this and that in bad faith, and the dev and his two mods will do nothing to stop it, at worst punishing you for just defending yourself and your love of the game. And even if you want to ask a question, a lot of the veteran players remain intentionally silent because (I'm not exaggerating) they think "I figured it out on my own, so they have to as well." They will see players having BREAKDOWNS over this game's frustrating mechanics, and just scoff at them in silence. That's how bad it gets. I told the dev that he could fix all this. I told the dev about all the problems. I told the dev how all this made me feel. I asked the dev why he was ignoring it all. He ignored me. He deleted my comments. He told me to "move on" when his fans attacked me. He seems to believe communication can ONLY be a one-way street: You do what he says or accept what he does, and you don't ask questions or try to work things out. It's extremely unhealthy conflict avoidance and poor communication, and the dev seems to believe that it's the only way he can do things, and hurting others is 100% okay.

  I gave this a shot because I enjoyed Dungeon Dreams and it is set in the same universe. This is NOTHING like Dungeon Dreams in terms of quality. On one hand, it's technically impressive to see VN made with RPG Maker MV if you've used the engine. On the other hand, it's a terrible engine for VNs and should be only be used for RPG cut scenes. Text skipping doesn't always work, no stop skipping on unread text option, the skipping is slow and interrupted whenever something on the screen changes, you can only save in specific places the game decides...it's not good. The main story is okay. The problem is you're going to go through hell trying to see about half of it. Routes are not intuitive and good luck figuring out the magic sauce on about half of them. Even the official guide is no help as it only gives vague hints about what you're supposed to do. I tried to get the jerk route 3 times and the harem route once using the guide and went 0 for 4, The other problem that gets this a thumbs down is HUGE inconsistency in art quality. The main character sprites and a couple of the event and HCGs look good or great. Most of the HCGs look like I tried to draw them, and that is NOT a good thing. What makes it more infuriating is that you can see the artist is capable of making nice CGs, she just doesn't care enough to do so most of the time. Even with the bad CGs I could give this a slight thumbs up if it were remade in VN Maker or Renpy and had a proper walkthrough. While it's short there is a certain charm. As it stands today the juice is not worth the squeeze. I will be requesting a refund. Addendum: It can't even play the music properly either. About half the time the music is slowed down with tons of jitter and other playback issues. Once in a while it will come out of it and play those tracks properly. Did anyone test this? That is unacceptable.

  It is a very nice game with very relaxing background music. I really like Shea and Feylinn.

  The visual novel is a fairly short one, but there are multiple endings to achieve for each of the characters with many routes to get. This keeps replayability high if a person wants to achieve all the endings.

  "The Angel Inn" is a little story game with multible endings. + cute Storys + well written + uncut - achievments in game but not at Steam - short playtime - boring after first end

  Short visual novel with multiple endings. Art style is nice but sometimes looking bit lazy. I liked that some choices which seemed "wrong" actually did lead to another kind of routes and not even bad ones. [spoiler] Remember that it's always ok to peek. [/spoiler]

  Short VN, where you play as a new Guard who arrived a bit early to the meet-up point… like five days early. Luckily, there is an inn nearby, called the Angel Inn. Through your choices and interactions, you can end up with one of three different girls, two, all three, or none of them… Decent for the price.

  while i like the artwork it just felt boring to me. no option to leave full screen. why do you need to click twice to confirm stuff. no ability to hide the screen. if you want to see the picture you have to wait and go to the gallery. no options choices. 1/10
