  The developer needs to enable steam workshop so we can use the dungeons & maps built by other users and then this will be a perfect resource for dungeon masters. Let's try and support the devs - this will be amazing if they can add that functionality!

  This application is a game changer for the online DnD scene. Just 1 night of messing around with the controls and a quick combat/story experience it was super easy to learn and get into. I've been using roll20 with my friends online for years now as we live all across the US. We plan on moving to this within the next week for all of our campaigns (DnD 5e, Iron Kingdoms, Pathfinder). We even hope to use this for war machine as well!

  DM buys a copy: - They create the worlds / campaign - Control whats on the board - Manages cinematics and visuals DM or Player buys another copy: - Shares screen to party Players watch the cinematic copy of the game: - Rolls and Character sheet elsewhere

  Pros:

  - performance is amazing - multi-Level creation - simply beautiful assets - world sharing functionality - the DM has so much to play with! - I adore the chat functionality

  For this game to dominate (not that it isn't already):

  - fog of war tweaks - character sheet integration -- or maybe an api for people to make websites (I'd love to make one). - mod support / steam workshop. -- so so much potential with the workshop.

  Hopes and wishes:

  - prescripted text a dm can give an npc or hotkey some chat values for using the in game chat effects. - scripting cinematics too! - hidden rolls for players - player and gm pings maybe...

  Price Review:

  - Its perfect. - Quality models / music / controls / and the devs. - You're not gonna find a happier experience anywhere else. - to further support the game and devs, I'd easily drop $10-20 for content packs based on the size and content of them.

  So, after over 100 hours of using this "game", I think it has great potential. it has one of the best level editors for making TTRPGs games like DnD but there are a few bad things I have to say about it. 1, it is not free for players which is a problem as for people that don't plan to DM they are missing out on most of the stuff, (my personal solution would be so players can join games but not be able to make ones see any of the assets apart form then they are in a game that someone is DMing) 2, there is no way to add/import custom content (at least at the moment) this game has a lot of cool miniatures but I'm sure both players and DMs want to add their own creations from NPCs too player models, and everything in between. saying all this game is still in Early Access and many things can change. I would say it's a great Level-Editor Tool, but if you want to buy make sure you have players who are willing to buy it, as i have bought this game for my players and then most of them stopped talking to me and we never played the game. SO buy it at your own risk

  HEY DEVS, MAKE A SEPARATE PLAYER CLIENT FOR A DISCOUNTED PRICE!!! I love the highly intuitive and easy to use controls. Having used CAD and 3D modelling software before, this was easy to pick up. After a couple hours, I was cruising along, building my tavern and placing my NPCs. I especially adore the atmospheric music and lighting settings, and how all the candles and torches cast off a bit of light. The DM mode was also a nice touch, being able to hide select objects from players. The integration from HeroForage was also exciting (was a bit sad thatn I have to purchase a 3D nmodel, as I already owned STLs, but oh well.)! This game has alot of potential, but now comes the part where I talk my friends into spending money to join me. Have you considered releasing a player-only version for, say, $10.00? That would at least make it easier for players to jump in. Not everyone is into game building/game mastering. Some people just wanna play DnD. Otherwise, I love, love, LOVE THIS!!!

  I am so in love with the idea of this game. Total props to the devs! BUT! I want a separate player version with limited player view options where there is no clipping through walls, floors and ceilings. I want to be able to limit my players to seeing only what their figure can see, then it will be PERFECT!

  Really cool tool, it really needs a free client for friends that don't care buying a such tool to play scenarios only and to be able to compete against foundry vtt or roll20 ...

  The VTT is great. If I could commit to using it and spend the time to learn it I think it would be quick and easy to set up games. But here's the problem: It needs a low-cost player-only client. I cannot convince 6-10 players to each spend 20 bucks just to try this out, and if I ever want to invite guests for a few sessions it's impossible. If I want to run one-shots, from a pool of 10-20 different players I know, impossible. If it turns out they don't like it that's 20 quid wasted. However, I would gladly spend twice as much, or like €5 per player slot to allow players to jump in and out. Right now the business model just doesn't work for me. I don't see how it ever will. So for that reason, i'm out.
