  This is SUCH a cute idea for an idler/pomodoro timer/productivity tracker. There's a lot done right here, but I think it would be really exceptional with some tweaks and fixes. THE GOOD STUFF - - This is CUTE. It's a simple, adorable isometric room with some lovely little details and blinking fairy lights, as well as a view out the window to the outside, which displays weather or daytime/nighttime. - If you are someone who frequently uses timers to either study, work or otherwise be productive, this is a great way to do so. It's certainly a lot better aesthetically than the usual web browser alarm I typically set. If you aren't someone who typically uses this method, I think this is a great intro to using the pomodoro method ( a method of timing yourself by being productive for a set amount of time like 25 minutes, and then giving yourself rest for 5 minutes). - The music included in this is gentle and relaxing and inoffensive. While it isn't the best of relaxing or lofi offerings, it's good enough and I also think that you could just use this music and still enjoy it without ever bothering with the import music function. - You have a selection of background noises to add as well - ambient sounds such as rain, snow, waves, summer insects, etc. This is great because I sometimes become overstimulated by music and would just like to have some background noise. - It features a to do list that is very easy to use and add to. If you have specific goals to achieve while using this app, that is a nice way to track what you are doing and what you have left to do. - The price point is just right on this app. Full price is only 2.99 and I consider it well worth that price if you enjoy idlers or frequently use study/work timers. THE NOT GREAT STUFF - These are all things that I think would make this really shine. I don't think the lack of these things is necessarily BAD however, they are merely suggestions that I think would make this even better. - The interface to import your own music is very hard to find. Currently, it is a "hidden" interface, which means it only shows up if you happen to hover your mouse over it. It's the lower left hand corner, so I didn't find this until I looked at the discussions and someone else asked about it. And even then it took me several times before I moved my mouse over the area that was currently blank, to have it pop up with the music menu. Selecting the other music that is included in this is in an entirely different menu, so I think it's all too easy to miss this and simply unhiding it by default would be super helpful. - There aren't many unlockables currently. I'd love to see some more things added in the long run (plants, more cats, more lights, etc) - I wish you could change the lighting colors manually. Being able to set my own mood by having the lights blink or not blink and picking my own color or alternating colors. - Similarly I wish you could choose daytime/nighttime with the click of a button rather than changing the clock in app. Having a sunrise/daytime/sunset/nighttime scene that we can just change at will by clicking buttons would make it even easier to set our own mood. - I wish I could layer ambient sounds also - such as choosing both waves AND bird sounds or rain AND wind, etc. TLDR - This is a very well done little idler/timer for study/work/chores and is a great way to use the pomodoro technique but with an adorable aesthetic.

  I really like the cute atmosphere, there are several options that I can't find in the free "games" Chill Corner and Virtual Cottage. They are nice and you should try them out but you will realise soon enough that some options are not sufficient if you want to plan or do a special task. I like the fact that I can add my own playlist so I don't have to listen to the same music over and over again. I bought Cozy Time 1£67 on sale definitely worth the money. Thanks!

  this game is not yet a 10/10, but it very easily could be let me preface by saying i do not like lo-fi music and did not buy the game for that purpose, nor am i listening to the music. so that part doesnt matter to me this game is extremely beautiful. im not kidding. even the UI is beautiful. it makes you happy just looking at it. the "focus" aspect is pretty neat as well but there are a few ways the game could improve! more customization for your character and pet, being able to interact more with the environment, and new functions. this game has the potential to be a 10/10 mental health game. there could be mini-games that help you focus, improve reaction speed, boost your cognition, and so on there could be daily quotes, ideas on how to distract yourself if you need it, and more there is a world of possibilities here. but for what it is right now, its super adorable :)

  I love Virtual Cottage, and I love Cozy Time. But Cozy time has features that I'd wished Virtual Cottage would include but has yet to. I really enjoy it. I look forward to bouncing back and fourth between this and Virtual Cottage while studying.

  I love Virtual Cottage, a fantastic tool for relaxing and focusing on Study. Cozy Time is basically much of the same but with some very nice QoL changes that make it just a bit better. The aesthetics are cute and cosy with that hand drawn lofi feel (although I think I like the look of Virtual Cottage a bit more) but both are fantastic and compliment each other well. Keep in mind, this isn't a game in the traditional sense, but more of a companion app you can run in the background while you work or focus.
