efi Introducción

efi is the on-demand service of wupsi GmbH and supplements the public transport offer in parts of Leverkusen and in the municipality of Odenthal in the Rheinisch-Bergisch district. efi takes you easily, flexibly and individually from A to B. 

When and where? 

efi runs between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. on weekdays and between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. on weekends and public holidays in the following operating areas: 

- Operating area Leverkusen Northeast: Opladen, Quettingen, Lützenkirchen and the rural part of Steinbüchel 

- Operating area Odenthal: Entire municipality of Odenthal 

Fares: 

The on-demand service from wupsi GmbH is integrated into the VRS fare and can therefore be used with all regular VRS tickets and subscription chip card tickets. If you don't have a ticket yet, you can buy one in the booking process of the efi app and pay with Paypal, credit card or direct debit.

Registration: 

You can easily register in the efi app by providing your name, mobile phone number, email address and means of payment. 

Trip booking: 

Enter your starting point and destination, select the number of people and let us know if you already have a valid VRS ticket. The app will tell you the pickup time and location. Bookings in advance are also possible. If you still need a VRS ticket, you can purchase this directly in the efi app, even for journeys to selected destinations outside the efi service including a connecting journey by bus and train. 

Get in and off you go with efi! 

Enter your starting point and destination, select the number of people and let us know if you already have a valid VRS ticket. The app will tell you the pickup time and location. Bookings in advance are also possible. If you don't already have a ticket, you can buy an efiTicket in the efi app, which will allow you to travel with our on-demand service efi. If, after your journey with efi, you would like to continue your journey with other buses or trains beyond the borders of the operating area, you can buy your ticket for the entire journey in our wupsiApp or at another point of sale. 

Routing: 

An algorithm calculates the shortest route and combines this with simultaneous travel requests from people whose routes are on the same route. In this way, all passengers are brought to their desired destination as quickly as possible. 

Vehicles: 

The well-known electric vehicles of the "London Cab" type are used. People with restricted mobility can also get into the vehicle comfortably via a ramp, with large grab handles to help you! A panoramic roof and the pleasant driving experience ensure a comfortable journey. A total of up to 6 passengers can be accommodated in the vehicles.
