  I bought this on impulse and holy gosh I'm so glad I did. Gameplay is short (finished the whole thing in <5 hours), the story is just 'there', dialogue could use some work, but we all know why we buy these kinds of games... The sultry 'defeat' scenes are something else, and honestly they're the reason to buy this game. Fully voiced with sound effects, and visuals that leave little to the imagination. A lot of times you'll feel like losing deliberately just to see what they're like (and your player character loses more clothes in-game as you take damage, too). And for a game of this price, the scenes do not disappoint. There's free DLC which lets you view all of these scenes in the gallery (you can even control how fast you reach the 'peak' by clicking repeatedly), but they lack any spoken dialogue. It's more rewarding to just load a saved game, go nuts, and drop to 0 health by various enemies and bosses for the best experience. Oh, what about gameplay? Don't worry about difficulty, you can kill enemies with just your melee weapon without much issue. And there's plenty of ammo, health kits, and guns about so you won't need to micromanage your inventory. It plays very much like Dead Or School (another super-fun 2d anime shooter, but more ecchi than hard-H). After the last boss, the game stops abruptly and suddenly; it feels cut short but I didn't mind too much. I got what I came here for. I encountered a glitch after fighting the 2nd boss, and the game wouldn't let me proceed to the next stage. There's a simple fix: save game before the fight, switch your language to Japanese before you start the 2nd boss battle, then once you reach the next main stage after talking with various NPC's, you can switch back to English. All-in-all, if you're looking to spend the afternoon all hot and bothered, this game should be on your short list.

  It is a bit much for 10 or 11 bucks but if you can get it for the 5 to 6 dollar range its worth it. the animations are nice, the gameplay is surprisingly fun for an H game and its pretty straight forward. it has its flaws however, its english translation is horrendous, I think the creator just threw the script through google translate and called it a day. Also save points are a bit sparse so if you want to go for the game over screens it can make things rough.

  spoilers: but not really since game is so short, alright so, I've played it for like an hr, trying to understand the broken english story. But I couldn't finish since I ran into the bug that progresses you into the DarkKnight or something like that mission/area. I reloaded my last save file, beat samurai chick again, game broke, decided to start from beginning, got to the same point in like 20 or so mins, game still just broken. It's just annoying me that I can't finish this "story" & make me want to go back and see the losing scenes b/c the gallery will never be complete since I am & will be missing the last boss or whatever is at the end. EDIT : If you get to this point, apparently before u fight the samurai girl, swap the game to japanese, then it will somehow fix itself... that's a dumb bug no joke..

  There are currently game breaking bugs when playing with english subtitles that stops you from progressing. You can get around this by changing to chinese whenever you encounter it, and reload a recent save file. You shouldn't have to do this though, and this issue has not been fixed for several months now.

  I ran into a game-breaking bug that did not allow me to advance to the next area, not even when reloading my old save file and accessing the area from a fresh start. I am unable to finish the game. I checked my problem on YouTube to see if I was doing something wrong, but no, the game is just bugged. In addition to the game-breaking bug, The Shadow of Yidhra has several issues. Bosses bug out to a point where they do not fight but walk towards a wall until killed. The main character glitches during dialogues. The story is written in broken English. Enemies can be run past 99% of the time without bothering to fight them and the penalty for this is not significant enough to punish the player. Overall, this could have been a decent game, thanks to its charming art style and combat, not to mention Hentai, but the zero quality control from the developers made sure that I can not recommend this game to anyone. What a shame...

  It's a very good 2D action game but it's very short. I finished the game with 8.5 hours without rushing. After finish, I don't feel like going back to it. I do recommend on Sale, but I don’t believe it’s worth full price. PROS: • Diversity of Weapons • Upgrades to improve your skills. • Ero 2D animations are great! • Gameplay is very good, even though a few bugs when jumping can happen. CONS: • There is a bug in which if you are using English, you will get your progress stuck. (Can be workaround by changing language to Japanese) • There is no difficult change. • Too short. • You can’t remap the buttons. • Translation to English is the worst I ever seen

  TL;DR: Buy it for H scenes, but be ready to suffer the gameplay This is a type of game that requires a neutral review button Pros: - The most important: Decent H-scenes, every enemy encountered opens one of a two new scenery and from one to two "after death scenery" when defeated by him; Art style is also pretty good - The weapons and improvement system: not a tripleA style, but pretty decent to entertain and make the gameplay a bit more interactive - Storyline: although the English translation is weak, it still gives you some idea of what going on and the dialog is somewhat in a "style" of jap anime; I'm also not a native speaker so I kinda understands what another non-native speaker meant when tried to translate - Difficulty level: If it weren't for a defeat scenes, I'd say that for a platformer it's pretty easy, you can complete the whole game without dying even once (if playing improvement system right) Cons: - Save system: it's plain terrible: there're about 10 of save spots for the whole game and no other autosave spots or checkpoints, given that you "benefit" with opening new scenes by dying and being knocked out, it's pretty dumb - Level lock bug: the one that don't allow you to open the next area, requires changing lang to jap, rebooting the game, talking to npc's in jap (will trigger the script to move to a next area) and then changing it back) - No visibility of nonopen scenes: you just have to guess have you opened them all or not - The after death H scenery includes textual story with the scenery autoplay which looks pretty good, but when running this scenery in the gallery there's no text with no autoplay and manual "press LMB" looks very clumsy and - Translation, it just not perfect, but whatever, I'm not here for a too much plot To sum up: the game is pretty good but it's just too many cons to put a thumb up. Also should be noted that this developer have released another game RitualSummon which have all the cons polished, and that's great for RitualSummon but most probably devs won't fix them here.

  This game needs a massive translation overhaul. I couldn't follow any of the story or dialog at all. H scenes are given upon death, but they are unique to each enemy. However, you can't save whenever you want and have to wait until you reach a save point. This wouldn't be too big of an issue, except that there are not only scenes for each enemy, but often scenes based on how many of a certain enemy type you lost to. With no hints or indication of what you're missing in the gallery and long stretches in between saves, the game really punishes you for wanting to unlock all of the scenes. I also reached the safe zone with Kaguya and the game bugged out thinking that I hadn't talked to anyone even though I just did, soft locking me in place. The gameplay is fine with a reasonable selection of weapons, though nothing outstanding. The game has tremendous potential to be pretty good but they need to fix the translation, give hints to missing scenes, and fix the soft lock.
