  TL;DR A fantastically promising game with lots to look forward to, the puzzles are fun and challenging while the lewds are tasteful. The lack of a gallery of some kind does cheapen the experience, but as it is an Early Access game, I am hopeful that future updates will remedy this in some fashion. I would say unless you've got a lot of spare cash, perhaps wait for future updates before grabbing this title. + Artwork is top notch, very aesthetically pleasing + Nine cute girls as of this review with more planned for future updates! + Level design is easy to understand, puzzles are adequately challenging + In-game guide link allows for stuck players to access a hint system - Lewds don't feel like rewards when there's no gallery to enjoy them - Completing a puzzle didn't feel as satisfying as I hoped, solutions lack finality -----------------------------------------

  --- Overview ---

  Maneuver the slimes across a progressive comic-style plane to solve puzzles that inevitably unlock many lewd images of the goal character across a series of levels with more intended to arrive in the future!

  --- First Impressions ---

  I found that the main menu had some great music to it, but was a little taken aback by how few options there really were on the menu, especially with the lacking of features like a gallery. I think the art is adorably appropriate, it's actually so strange to me how it strikes a balance of cute and lewd without being overtly on one side or the other. The tiny bit of voice acting the game has is featured primarily on this main menu and it's great, I just wish there was more of it to be had!

  --- Character Design ---

  Most characters have a similar body type: a little chubbier than you're probably used to seeing in NSFW games on Steam (although very cute and attractive nevertheless) with big breasts. It does seem a little one-trick-pony that all nine of the current characters as of the release of Early Access all have the exact same body type, but if that's your thing and you want more of it, you'll get plenty of it here. I'd love to see more of the parody characters like Xelda and the level being designed stylistically after the Legend of Zelda games. Neat little parody characters like that add a lot to the charm of this game in particular, especially when other characters rely primarily on tropes like witches or zombies.

  --- The LEWDS ---

  Upon solving a puzzle, you unlock a lewd image of the girl you're looking to conquer. As of this review, there are 45 lewd images to unlock, all involving some form of nudity or lewd acts typically involving the slime Lim-Lim that you're controlling through the comic-book-like puzzle progression. These images are fairly tame and feature cute chubby girls engaging in various sexual acts, but more often than not something vaginal or simply suggestive. There is no gallery to get a better look at the images, nor is there any way to see the images again without repeating the puzzle, making the rewarded art feel a little fleeting, especially in combination with the lack of ability to take screenshots of the game. The art is so good that not having these kind of inclusions makes it feel less like a reward and more like a simple tease.

  --- Gameplay Overview ---

  Many of the levels you'll encounter encourage taking a good look at the levels and making an approach from there. Every now and again, movable objects sparkle and bounce for a second, giving you an idea of what you're working with. Later levels in what I imagine are Trials involve a series of puzzles performed in order to unlock all of the lewd images. With 45 puzzles, the game has a lot to offer in terms of its creative ingenuity, feeling sort of like a point-and-click game in a more streamlined engine. The game is pretty self-explanatory, but the inclusion of a Guide button in case you're really stuck and just don't get it is a unique and helpful tool for those that get a little frustrated being stuck on a particular puzzle. I really enjoy that the Guide gives subtle hints at first in case you just need a hint and the deeper you go into it, the more bluntly they'll inform you of the solution. I think this is a real good way to balance the game's logic maybe not lining up with the player's. That being said, the game does a great job at making sense in a way that isn't too far-fetched and actively encourages thinking outside the box and experimenting with placements and combinations. It does seem strange to say, but completing a puzzle didn't feel quite as satisfying as I hoped, even if it was something I struggled with. There's no oomph or anything very glamorous happening, the final image just changes to another image and that's that until you move on to another solution. Maybe some voice acting or sound effects would give it that polish it's currently lacking, but as it's current status feels underwhelming. As far as puzzle games go, I found it to be unique. It really felt like a genuinely good time and while I can't say that the lewds felt rewarding, the artwork by itself is very welcoming.

  --- Recommendations & Problems---

  · Would love to see a gallery · I'd like to be able to click on the hearts for a scene in a level that I've already unlocked to be able to replay scenes without performing the puzzle again, especially if there won't be a gallery addition · Unsure if it's a problem with the engine, but being unable to take screenshots is a bummer · An "Episode Selection" or "Main Menu" button from within the level would be a good way to cut out going through a menu upon finishing a level · Unsure if there's plans to utilize the Hearts in the future, but some sort of unlockables involving them would feel rewarding for players who completed every challenge · The hint system is great, but I am curious if there is a way to keep it in the game window itself to be relevant only to the current level

  --- Final Thoughts ---

  Although it does feel like it's missing some bits and pieces, the majority of the game that's been shown so far in this Early Access release has been a real treat as far as brain-teasers are concerned. The art is cute, the lewds aren't half-bad if perhaps a little tamer than I expected, and the menus are easy to navigate. The lack of a true gallery or more of that great voice acting from the beginning does cheapen the overall experience in my eyes, but I am confident in what will be released in the game going forward and I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next!   There comes a time in every man's life when he needs to take a look at himself in the mirror and wonder how exactly he reached such a place. You have to truly ponder what decisions you have made along the way that brought you to the place of your final reckoning. It is still unclear, even to me, even to God perhaps, why I purchased Smutty Scrolls. There isn't anything wrong with it, as puzzle gamel with hentai scenes throughout it's perfectly stellar. But when you look at it as a choice, you realize just how flawed you and the rest of humanity is. What drove me to purchase such a game? What part of my soul felt so empty that I thought an anime girl could fill it? When I look into the boundless depths of my own loneliness I see a pool of reflection. My face isn't there, there is no face. There are only tears in that pool, tears of shame and loss and confusion. If it were up to me again I know I would purchase it in a heartbeat, I know I would load it up and skip through the countless pieces of dialogue all so I can have a single morsel of pornographic images which are readily available online. Yet, despite the abundance of naked anime women waiting in the digital sphere, I still chose to purchase this game and devote hours of my life to it. That time will never return to me, it is lost just like my soul and just like the time I fear I may never find it again. There is something broken within me, something that desires sensation beyond my reach, something that whimpers every single night with the knowledge that there is no true Kaiju Princess, it is a merely an illusion. In my pursuit to find meaning in this long life, I sought the colorful lights and sounds of a world that only exists in a pop up window on my computer. I am unsure what the moral of this review is, I am unsure about my place within the universe, all I know is that no amount of anime girls can cure the vast rot that has overtaken me.

  I was looking for this game since I play the demo. - The puzzles are extremely fun and I enjoyed every one of them. In my opinion you should buy this game only for this one reason. - I am not huge fan of the graphics style. I think it still better than modern pixel arts. - I am not sure about the "lawd" part of the game. In my opinion the game could get rid of those. Maybe this way the game would sold more copies? Maybe? In other hand I know that a lot of people will buy it only for "special content". The game is still in Early Access. Because of that:e - There are a lot of bugs in the game (nothing game breaking though --- I played on Steam deck) - Number of puzzles is limited right now. I solved them all in less than two hours. I still recommend this game. The puzzles are extremely fun. If game gets updates - I will update this review.

  The puzzles are fun but if your here for the smut you can do better. There are no sexy animations, only a singly lewd pic after each puzzle solved. If your a degenerate like me and you want your H games for fun and fap material then this game likely wont cut it for you. But if your just here for the fun little puzzles go ahead but I would still wait for a steam sale.

  As a game it's good. A new take on puzzles that I haven't seen before, and a pretty decent concept in practice. I can definitely see this being used in other settings for puzzle games that could easily work great. That being said, as an H game it leaves something to be desired. The smut images you get are good, but there is no gallery. Kind of annoying to have to do them all over again to see them. I've beaten all of the content after a little over an hour, and only had to use a guide twice. I think right now $9.99 is a bit much, but I'm looking forward to what the dev plans next. TL:DR: Good puzzle game, Eh H game, kinda pricey, but maybe new content soon.

  Not the H-game I was hoping for but the puzzle game I didn't know I wanted. As far as this game goes to get your socks off its not doing much in that department BUT, my god is this a really fun relaxing puzzler. I have no clue if the puzzle type of this game has been done before its a first in my experience and as a puzzler in this genre to pop my cherry I can't wait for more. If I had to sells pitch this game I would just describe it as "A really relaxed story telling, logical puzzler with a super cute art style and honestly cute solutions, also hentai is your reward." I just really want to hammer home when I first got this game my expectations were very not met, but when I adjusted it to the expectation of "fun" I realized those expectations were exceeded.
