  Disclaimer: My steam playtime is not indicative of how much time I've actually spent on this game. Lilitales is a first person dungeon crawler/visual novel. It is not an RPGMaker game. It runs on another engine entirely. It's a quality H game with top tier production quality and writing, and it might be KaguraGames' best game yet. Even without a sale, at 17 bucks, it's already a steal, as you can easily squeeze over 20 hours of gameplay out of it, and it's voice acted to boot. Imagine this: an H game with bad art can be carried by its writing, and likewise, an H game with bad writing can be carried by its art. Lilitales is a game with both amazing writing and art, both inside and outside H scenes. There is an actual plot with proper worldbuilding, character development, and all that good shit. The H scenes are at the same level of quality, and usually describe events in great "detail," making you feel very "immersed" in what is transpiring on screen. Be aware though, that there is little to no vanilla content in this game. The dungeon crawling gameplay, while no Etrian Odyssey, is still very well thought out and enjoyable. It was interesting enough for me to want to keep playing to the end. They clearly didn't just slap it on for the sake of having gameplay; they actually wanted to create an interesting and fun primary gameplay loop. At certain points it devolves into mindless grinding though, as is the standard for old-school dungeon crawler games like these. TLDR: Dungeon crawler/RPG/visual novel H game. 20+ hours of content, voice acting for H scenes and story scenes, fun gameplay, great artwork and stellar writing. An H game with genuine time and effort put into it. Buy it. It's one of KaguraGames' best games yet.

  Pros: * Like what many reviews say, it's got a surprisingly interesting story with some plot twists. * Great artwork and most of the major scenes are fully voiced (the main characters only) in Japanese, * Surprisingly in-depth fights. Careful item and skill management required especially on bosses and tough enemies. * Not too grindy. I beat the main story in about 8-10 hours. After completing story mode a bonus, optional dungeon with new enemies not found in the main game is unlocked and you'll likely grind a little for this one. There's also New Game+ mode (haven't tried it yet as of this writing) where it says you'll keep your level, gear, skills, etc. In addition, new enemies unlocked in the arena after main game is completed too. * H scenes are voiced by the main characters and almost all involve rape (especially if you lose certain fights) or embarrassing situations. Tentacle porn, monster rapes, gang bangs, strip scenes, ass grabs, etc. it's all here. I personally am not a big fan of rapey H scenes but that's how many Japanese H games are like it seems. Cons: * On the first playthrough the (rather long) intro scene that sets the story up isn't easily skipped. That is to say you can't click through the dialogue and you'll be forced to watch it and hear them talk, it's a lot longer than expected with various scenes and they talk kind of slow. There is a "skip" option that lets you blow through all the text and land you to the first fight though. Thankfully the rest of the game lets you click through dialogue if desired, strange how the intro doesn't? However once you beat the game and try the New Game+, the intro allows you to click through the dialogue, why couldn't this be enabled on the first playthrough? * Be prepared to get raped if you lose certain fights. Sometimes it's not too clear what you're supposed to do when you first run into these rapey fights or events but once you figure it out you likely won't be raped again (unless you actually WANT to be raped and see the H scenes). * Other than this Steam site, there isn't much available online in terms of a walkthrough or in-depth guide. I realize (as of this writing) there's two guides in English available here on Steam along with a discussion board but they don't cover everything and a few points in the game you're left to figure it out on your own (isn't that what makes things fun?).

  To be fair, this game surprised me quite a lot by it's "branching". Sure, majority of them are game ending defeats but they are still strong in writing and tell much what became of the character(s) affected by your failure, unlike most of the similar type of games where defeats are just brushed aside lazily.

  always loved this game when I played it years ago with an unofficial translation, good to see it's been respected with a proper one now.

  This game is pretty epic for a h*ntai game. Good writing, combat, music, and "scenes". Lots of stuff to do too.
