  Greetings! Quick review on the ‘Digital Extras’ of the Darksiders Genesis; being a huge fan of the setting it is always nice to get some additional content. I’m always a bit wary of the Artbook and soundtrack combo as it can be very hit or miss, was I right to worry? Let’s discuss! Queue the Boss Music: What you have here is a small digital artbook and the soundtrack from the game itself. The soundtrack is great, epic even but for better or worse you can get this through many other sources like YouTube. I wish I could say the Artbook provides value but it took me only a handful of minutes to experience and it provided no commentary and although did provide early concept art nothing really grabbed me as ‘oh, that’s interesting’. Overall, I’d grab this with the bundle while on sale, if you’ve already got the game and want to support the creator then I’d grab it too. But that’s just the thing, you only buy this to support the creators, it is simply not worth the cost. I’m going to recommend this with the above notes but ONLY because I want to see more Darksiders content and if this was a representation of their quality (it’s not) then I’d pass. Enjoy!

  To find the Digital Extras, go to the local files of the game itself and you will find a file called "Digital Extras" with your contained Soundtrack and Artbook. I hope you find this review helpful.

  How to find this stuff: Open filemanager Go to "This PC" Select the storage the game is downloade on Find "Programfiles (x86)" Find "Steam" Find "Steamapps" Find "Common" Find "DarksidersGenesis" Find "Digital Extras" Here you have the soundtrack and artbook, your whalecum ;)

  I bought this for the soundtrack. Gareth Coker is a phenomenal music composer and this sountrack is absolutely great :D

  Great game, lots of fun but still a few glitches when playing with a friend online. The Moloch crash in particular is a real issue which needs fixing. Other than that it was a great soundtrack and a beautiful and enjoyable game.

  There might be some violence (mostly bloodless) in the game, but MAN the violins in the soundtrack! The soundtrack has been masterfully crafted to suit the game environment and perfectly compliments it. And just listening to it just like that is just BEYOND EPIC. This is my go-to music to listen to when I have to write a report for my Masters and the deadline is almost over. Which I am sad to admit is now happening more frequently than I would prefer. But the best part is, I get to listen to the soundtrack! LOL! PS: I have been jamming to the 'The Beacons' and 'Credits' track for days now. It's just beautiful. Buy it now.
