  I liked Blasphemous, so even if this DLC was a bit pricey for a one-shot comic, I thought that hey, a few bucks for maybe 20 pages of backstory and some nicely-drawn action would be worth it. [b]Eight blasted pages.[/b] [i]Including[/i] the cover, which isn't even very elaborate or pretty to look at. Eight pages of faux-symbolic wittering that doesn't tell us anything we don't already know from playing the game, introducing only one new character who simply vanishes a few pages in and never appears again, then a fight between the Penitent One and Crisanta that lasts maybe 1 page. And the art isn't even very nice-looking- in fact, it's rather ugly, and poor at conveying a proper sense of location. Blasphemous is a genuinely great game, but this DLC is a waste of money.

  Short comic, but a nice backstory to the beginning of the game. Gorgeous art as well, and as was pointed out in another comment, a small way to help the devs keep pushing great content.

  A very short short 8 page comic that shows the events right before the start of the game. Really only worth it as a way to support the devs or if you're a big fan of the game.
