UC One Introducción

UC One is a super-app that allows centralization and more efficient management of services such as notifications from various platforms, quick access to conversation channels, user identification when accessing spaces and/or activities at the UC. In addition to these basic features, it contains other integrated mini-applications, such as the UC Space of Knowledge.

The UC Space of Knowledge is an innovative virtual world that aims to offer an unprecedented experience to those who visit the University of Coimbra's heritage, integrated since 2013 in the list of places recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites. It allows any visitor to the institution to browse all the spaces online while physically visiting them.

This dual experience also includes intuitive audio guides, in nine languages ​​(including Portuguese Sign Language). And it also has a recreational component, particularly attractive for families and the younger audience: visitors can try to fulfill the challenge of completing the collections of points of interest.

With the Space of Knowledge module you will have access to:

- A user-explorable virtual world using their preferred avatar;

- Audio guides available in nine languages ​​(including Portuguese Sign Language);

- Transcription and subtitles of the various audio guides for a more inclusive experience;

- Slideshow of exclusive images from the various spaces of the UC;
